4 Books And 5 Classics Novels & Stories

the Light? I think most of us will agree and love both our light and dark sides, because we, as humans, have both of these elements - Light and Darkness. It is up to us which of them we will let overcome the other in our hearts. And no matter if you believe in God, another higher power or you are an atheist, you certainly feel the influence of these two opposing elements in your life many times, especially when you have to make an important decision such as, for example, whether to help someone in need? Should I stop or pass someone indifferently? Take care only for yourself and your own interests, or maybe for common good? It is a popular concept of right or wrong, where right is Light and

Inside she takes a look around. “Have you read all these books?” There is a mild hint of wonder in her voice. “Most of them. I am an avid reader, we have everything from Tolstoy, Bronte, to modern day literature, biographies, and books on art, architecture, modern history, and other subjects. My father ensured his children were wide read and well versed in the classics.” “You surprise me, you don’t strike me as a man who’d read classics.” “For a few seconds they looked into each other’s eyes, and the distant and the impossible suddenly became near, possible, and inevitable.” I I quote one of my favorites from War and Peace. She cocks her head.

Only two seem to be nonfiction and self help books, yet when i check what content they will be self helping me with i feel surprise running through me. "The delicate art of seduction and manipulation." I fling that one to a corner of the room and pick up the other. "How to make men beg for a chance to fuck you." I fling that one even harder and it joins its partner on the floor near my wardrobe. There are four remaining. Four novels which I have two days to myself to devour. The smile that works its way up my face is radiant. I'm going to have such a good time.

The library’s floor is polished, and it has a granite fireplace and a comfortable, well-worn sitting arrangement. I heave a sigh, relieved that Ms. Lennie isn’t around to reprimand me. I’ve always loved reading and collecting romance books at home, so seeing these shelves just makes my heart soar. I start my journey inside, searching for cookbooks. Instead, I stumble upon a book placed in a glass cage in the middle of the classics section. I lean forward, touching the glass as I try to read the title. It’s Macbeth and Hamlet by William Shakespeare. The air instantly abandons my lungs when I catch sight of the leather-bound cover. It’s very old but still stunning.

Wow. I was drooling. It wasn't just a room with books. It was a sanctuary. Floor-to-ceiling shelves packed with hardcovers, a rolling ladder, a massive fireplace that looked like it hadn't been used in decades. The scent of old paper and leather hit me, comforting and familiar. I ran my finger along the spines. ‘The Art of War’, ‘Sun Tzu’. ‘Histories of the Roman Empire’. Biographies of kings and conquerors. Heavy stuff. Interspersed with them were fiction classics. Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Dumas.

Like going back in time. Sunlight streamed delicately through the tall windows, creating golden strips that lit up random sections of books. It was a literary paradise. And I, daughter of a schoolteacher and a voracious reader by nature, found myself smiling for the first time in days. “Oh my God…” I whispered, running my fingers along the spine of a brown leather-bound volume. “There are more books here than in my university’s library.” It wasn’t an exaggeration. There were rare editions. Works in Latin. Books on philosophy, art, psychology, classical literature. Translations of Russian poets. Treatises on ancient wars. French romances. I felt like a child in a toy store.

"What have you been up to all this while?" "You want to know what I've been doing in my spare time," I asked, surprised that he cared at all. My hands instinctively clamped my neck as I remembered what had happened. He was a man of different shades. "Yes" He said, looking steadily at me. "Nothing much, I've been going to the library. This place has an interesting collection" "Is that so?, what are your favourites so far?" He asked, lighting up at the mention of books. "Well, I've seen many of the classics. Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Cervantes. The novel section is divided into time periods. For some reason though, Dickens is missing and he's one of my favorites."

I didn’t hesitate. I pulled Fifty Shades of Grey first (cliché, yes, but I needed an entry point), then The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice, Story of O, a slim volume called The New Topping Book just to balance it out, and two anthologies with titles like Bound Hearts and Surrender to Me. The stack felt heavy in my arms, like contraband. I carried them to the my corner and hid them under the table. I sat down, and opened the first book.

But she hoped that even Scar wouldn't sink so low as to ruin their wedding day. After everything ws organized and put away, Lacey headed out to the living room and poured herself a glass of wine. Then she eyed the wall of books on the far wall. John Grisham... Tom Clancy.... Then there were classics such as The Three Musketeers, The Man in the Iron Mask, both by Alexandre Dumas; as well as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and From the Earth to the Moon, both by Jules Verne; and much more. It was an impressive collection. She chose From the Earth to the Moon and then sat on the couch to wait for Julien.
