Sorry, Too Late

Sorry, Too Late

It hurt too much. A mouthful of blood sprayed from his lips as he completely lost control. Then silence. The entire villa fell deathly still. Zeke sat there, eyes vacant, looking half out of his mind. He had failed. He still hadn't endured the third phase's side effects. After the silence came a roar of fury and collapse. Thankfully, the third phase would remain active. He would have endless chances to try again. "Zeke, are you in there? I need to see you. It's urgent!" Graham's voice suddenly came from outside.

The Slaved Virgin Offering

The Slaved Virgin Offering

'No friend, on the house'. I said "OK." I felt a little thirsty and drank a long pull on the bottle. It was cold and refreshing. I was thankful at that moment. I should have known something was up when I offered Tammie a drink of my beer and someone stopped me. "Ninguin amigo que sea para ti le conseguire algo." 'No friend that is for you, I will get her something.'

After Ninety-Nine Times

After Ninety-Nine Times

I forced back the tears in my eyes and the vomit rising in my throat. ‘It’s fine,’ I told myself quietly. ‘With that, all 99 coupons have been used up. ‘I’m leaving you for good, Leonard.’

Goodbye, I'm Busy Starting My New Life

Goodbye, I'm Busy Starting My New Life

Misunderstanding after misunderstanding had slowly eroded that love, replacing it with endless torment. Now that I’d let go, I didn’t want to carry the blame for things I hadn’t done anymore. I wanted to explain one last time. Holding the USB drive in my bag, I spoke calmly. “Carter, I had nothing to do with your father’s death. Do you believe me?” He lowered his gaze and remained silent for a long time. I smiled. His silence was already an answer. Without hesitation, I took out the USB drive and placed it in his hand.

Legacy

Legacy

Ties were tied around foreheads, heels were kicked into a corner, and the air was thick with the kind of laughter that only happens when the boss isn't around. "She’s here!" Sarah shrieked over the remix of a Dua Lipa track, waving a red solo cup in the air. She looked like she was three drinks ahead of the room. "The Queen of Velez has entered the building!" I was immediately swarmed. Vince and a few of the other editors I used to work with huddled around, handing me a cold bottle of beer. "Is it true Mateo Velez has a literal gold-plated espresso machine?" Vince asked, leaning in as if I were a double agent returning from a deep-cover mission.

Nice book, lovely story ... I guess this was one of your first books? I can really recommend the book „you are mine, omega!“ from this lovely author ... this book is really well written and has also a very interesting and unique story ... I couldn’t stop reading…

Apparently a first book from this excellent author. The circumstances of the FL reminds me a lot of Sophie in the novel ' mated to big brother in law'. Nice short story although some mixed ups and the wolf hiërarchy does not always make sense. Nevertheless good to follow and entertaining.

Please don't touch me

Please don't touch me

Doris stopped thinking, she asked him the question just now. - Where are you going to take me? Riffen did not hesitate to answer, perhaps he told her then she could feel secure to go with him. The purpose of this trip is to give her comfort anyway, he also knows he was wrong with her, as compensation before letting her go from him. - I'll take you to Brazil, there will give you food you can't eat, go places you can't go, okay? Doris was still frowning in suspicion, how could she be so blessed, maybe after this he would let her die? Doris suddenly cried weakly.

My Sophisticated Chic

My Sophisticated Chic

A man came out from the gates "dove stai andando? Andiamo dentro (where are you going? Let's go inside)" "Wait, wait. I was just helping this beautiful lady she asked me how to go to your house" Grandma said pointing at me. The man looked at me with his eyebrows in thin line. " Non darle quello sguardo che non è qui per te. Ha detto che voleva parlare con i Villafuencas (Don't give her that look shes not here for you. She said she wanted to talk to the Villafuencas)"

I wonder if the role were reversed & Ace's father/mother have beaten Aurora for years beaten her almost to death how would have Aurora felt if Ace still tried to protect them like Aurora always tries to protect her dear father(child abuser)? We can't ignore what Ace went through just bcz he is a man.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the heart of Mexico, particularly in Guasave, Sinaloa, frayles hold a special place in local culture, blending tradition with artistry. These unique and colorful garments, originally known as 'frayles', are typically associated with the local festival culture, especially during the celebrations dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe. The frayles themselves are almost like living canvases; they tell a story and reflect the identity of the community. I remember walking through the streets during the festival and being absolutely enchanted by the vibrant colors and intricate designs. It’s like each frayle has its own unique personality!

The process of creating a frayle is an art form in its own right. Traditionally, these garments feature a lot of details, like embroidery and handcrafted elements that can take weeks, even months to perfect. This painstaking craftsmanship is a testament to the dedication of the artisans involved, who pour their heart and soul into every stitch. Sometimes I think about how amazing it is to wear something that represents not just individual creativity but also collective history.

The festivities in Guasave also include lively music and dance, creating an atmosphere that’s impossible not to get caught up in. It’s a chance for locals and visitors alike to engage fully with tradition, and for me, experiencing this vibrant culture is always a highlight of my year. Seeing everyone clad in their frayles feels like stepping into a living painting, which I believe is the essence of community spirit.

I’d love to dive deeper into the stories behind specific designs one day, perhaps interviewing the artists who create them. Just thinking about how each piece carries emotions and memories warms my heart!
