THE BILLIONAIRE WHO THREW AWAY HIS VIRGIN WIFE

THE BILLIONAIRE WHO THREW AWAY HIS VIRGIN WIFE

I told myself the library would still be there when I was ready. On the fifth evening the quiet in the apartment started to feel heavier than usual. Mom was out at a book club she had rejoined. The rooms were too still. I grabbed my bag and walked to Seventh Street before I could talk myself out of it. The library was busier than on previous visits. A study group occupied the large tables near the front. I took a smaller one against the wall and opened my laptop. I had brought the Mercer follow-up notes, nothing urgent, just enough to keep my hands busy.

Corrupt Temptation

After a moment of hesitation a name—a straightforward unassuming name of my street—came to mind. “Elder Street, I guess. Number 12…downtown, close to the old library!”

First of all, I love the suspense. Its giving read more and find out and then I like Ivy's boldness or should I say her not being scared of anything. Like, I could feel the chills when she saw the rope. Girl isn't scared of anything... lemme go and read more... Nice work, author.

Reborn to Destroy Him

Reborn to Destroy Him

The address Jessica provided wasn't a warehouse in Red Hook. That had been misdirection in case I showed the letter to authorities. The real location came via text at 8:45 AM: "Change of plans. Penthouse suite, 432 Park Avenue. Top floor. Come alone. The doorman is expecting you." 432 Park Avenue. One of the most expensive residential buildings in Manhattan. Luxury apartments with panoramic city views. Security cameras everywhere. The last place I expected for a confrontation with a fugitive.

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

I stupidly followed her, not sure if I could still consider her my ally. The main library was a massive Beaux Arts building of white granite, six stories high, occupying an entire city block. It is located in the center of the city, adjacent to the City Hall, the California Supreme Court, the War Memorial Opera House, the Hall of Proceedings and the Davis Symphony Hall. In these few downtown blocks, giants dominated the neighborhood. The library, though designed as if it were from a bygone era, was actually a recent addition to the overall ensemble. The old library was damaged during the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake.

She checked the time and saw that it was closed. She grabbed her phone. “You work at the library…right?” She shot it off to Joseph. “Yeah, what’s up?” “Was that the campus or city library?” “City…again…what’s up?” She thought. “I’m trying to find a newspaper article from 1858. Would you know if the library has these on file?” “What are you trying to find?” “Promise you won’t laugh.” “Promise.” “I have a ghost in my house, and I’m trying to figure out why.”

THE VAMPIRE BROTHERS

THE VAMPIRE BROTHERS

He chose not to, he preferred to live a private life because life has been cruel to him. Aiden stationed the SUV at the parking lot, Lynette looked at her wristwatch before she stepped out of the car. It was 9:45 am. The Library opens at 10 am and she could see some students dawdling at the corner of the building. Aiden saw the town's flag that was attached to the top of the one-story building as it swept from left to right. The Library was beautiful, surrounded by hedges, and a plain field covered with grasses, the founding fathers of this town did a good job by renovating most of the old buildings and encouraging the afforestation of silver birch trees which had a high population in Arcadi

A truly intriguing story, told with care. Each chapter leaves me wanting to read more and there's so much to love about each character. I have to say I'm team Colby, Aiden and Darius though. A fantastic world too.

Ice & Ivy - A Hockey Romance

Ice & Ivy - A Hockey Romance

Whatever he would even think about a cancelled study session. I pull on my Yale hoodie, pick up my annotated copy of The Great Gatsby, and go. Sterling Memorial Library looks like a cathedral that someone decided should also contain books. Vaulted ceilings. Stone archways. Windows that filter afternoon light into long pale rectangles across the reading room floors. The whole building operates on the unspoken agreement that serious work happens here, and the students bent over tables throughout the main study area seem to have received that memo without needing it explained. I find Eli immediately.

She asks. “This one suits me better. Thank you.” I grin. “My pleasure. Let me ring it for you.” With that, I follow her to the counter. at first i thought it'll be the casual CEO-fell-in-love-with-his-employee story LOL. but i thought wrong. the storyline and the writing style here are very nice. the author really did a good job in creating the characters here. their background information is well explained and very detailed.

Feral Attraction

Feral Attraction

The library stood near the town square; a beautiful, old sandstone building with wide steps and tall windows that always smelled faintly of old paper and sea breeze. A banner hung across the entrance: “Brentwood Youth Symposium — Connecting Minds, Sharing Dreams.” Gal grinned at me. “See? Totally worth leaving the house for.” I chuckled. “You just want the snacks.” “Maybe,” she said, laughing. Inside, the library had been rearranged, tables pushed aside to make space for rows of folding chairs. There were posters about creativity, community projects, and “youth impact.” At the front stood a cheerful-looking woman in her thirties with a microphone, addressing the small crowd of about thirty t

Ex-husband Wanted an Open Marriage With My Sister

Ex-husband Wanted an Open Marriage With My Sister

The small compartment above the dashboard was empty—the pink dinosaur was tucked into the inner pocket of her jacket, its rubber belly pressed against her ribs, rising and falling with her breaths. East 57th Street. This is a quiet residential street, flanked by six-story red-brick apartment buildings. Each building has cast-iron canopies and brass doorplates at its entrance. The streetlights are of the old style, with frosted glass covers. Light filters through the glass, creating soft, circular halos on the sidewalk. Alexander’s apartment is on the fifth floor of Building Three. People from Caspian have confirmed the location of the windows: the second window facing the street. The curtain
