“Just like you look like you spent half the night searching through the rubble of Lucille’s house to find scraps of my old underwear.” It was a lie, and there wasn’t a person in the room who didn’t know it. Jude’s hair was perfectly messy, hanging over his forehead to partially obscure his scar. The white t-shirt he wore stood out in contrast to the dark leather jacket.
