So, pull a card and turn it over.” Aislen drew an Ace of Hearts. “What does this mean?” Cameron yawned and draped his leg and arm over Heath’s back. “If I fall asleep, don’t let my arse burn,” he muttered. Heath laughed under his breath. “Well, it’s a heart, so it’s about love. I think,” Rhett frowned. “Ace was something new, I think. Maybe a new love?” Aislen’s flush ran up her chest to color her cheeks.

Andrew pulled out a pair of jokers from his deck of cards, and the maids shook their heads. He laid down his remaining seven cards. "Six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, and queen. I win." He extended his hand. "Pay up."

The seventh day was ending. Midnight was approaching. I took the 22 Tarot cards to the manor's grand hall. The floor was black and white marble, with a huge magic circle in the center. Following my memory of the "Gate of the World" pattern, I carefully placed the cards on the circle. With each card I placed, the floor glowed faintly. When the final card, 'The Lovers', was set down, the entire hall exploded in a blinding white light.

Me: ‘It would be nice to put a face to the name. Pstar7: ‘Cool it, sas squat! It’s not that easy, you know.’ Me: ‘What do you mean?’ Pstar7: ‘I’ll only give you a hint. Then you can figure out the rest on your own.’ Me: ‘Sure.’ Pstar8: ‘I’m actually a member of the drama club at school. That’s all I can give you. Good night’ What??? The drama club has at least a hundred members, how am I supposed to find him?!

“I’m going to need more than that, Harry.” He leaned in. “Hester posted these pictures to humiliate you. But what if we spin it? What if we turn it into a tragic love story?” I stared at him, my mind struggling to keep up. “A love story?” “Think about it,” he said, his eyes gleaming. “A woman, madly in love, so overwhelmed with emotion before her wedding that she collapses from exhaustion. But does she give up? No. She fights through it—because her love is stronger than any hardship.”

She asked, impatient as she waited for him to elaborate. "Bruce a-and Layla Kingston. They're the leaders of t-the Panthers, The American m-mafia." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Unfortunately, I don't have a clue of who they are." The woman grabbed another knife from the table and slashed multiple cuts on his chest, red blood oozing down his torso freely. Bella went around him and carved a heart on his bare back. It was her symbol; a signature, you could say. Each of her victims, alive or not, bared the symbol on their skin.

Steven was probably laughing his ass off at the other table, which pissed me off. "Yes! That's the kind of fun I'm looking for!" exclaimed the obnoxious kitten, and I took a deep breath before flipping the card. It's 7. As I exhaled out, my hands were trembling, and I felt like I had run a mile. No one has ever made me feel this way before. I swear, I'm going to make her pay. When I saw the card I flipped was 7, I let out an unintentional hiss and softly swore. I should've agreed to her first stipulation. In terms of card points: 7 is equal to 0. She didn't specify any conditions for getting a 0 value. Shit! I can see her grin from where I'm standing across the room.

The next player, Moya, called. Then it was back to the dealer again. He laid down the river card. A seven of hearts. It would be an impossible miracle. Moreau laid down a bet. Adrea looked at him. What the fuck did he have? Another king? She did not trust that relaxed but unreadable expression. There was something brewing behind those eyes.

It was him, indeed. Yoan tightly grasped the seven of diamonds, glanced at Alexander's face, and felt a rush of excitement. His words stumbled out in his fervor, "Mister Kane, I knew it was you! Square Seven... Only you could openly defeat my master on the gambling table. My master was defeated by this seven of diamonds card."
