Poisonous Flower

Poisonous Flower

" Louis patted Adrian's shoulder, made the final step towards our house… And pushed the door open. An overwhelming stench of blood came rushing out, filling the air. Sprays of crimson stained the walls, and chaotic claw marks littered the floor. Every single detail seemed to tell a story of the agonizing and horrific slaughter that had taken place in this very house. "Rena!"

Sweet poison

Sweet poison

we took the stairs downwards till we entered our wonderland It is a moderately large room we use as a mini weapon house, there are over two thousand guns of different shapes and sizes, explosives, knives, swords, body armors, and Spy cameras nicely arranged in different sections I stopped in my tracks after I noticed I was no longer hearing her footsteps behind me, I turned to see her jaw nearly touching the floor from the look of surprise on her face. “Wow!! This is beautiful, dangerously beautiful I mean to say” she said spinning around while taking in the view before her.

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!

Succubus in your Dreams

Succubus in your Dreams

Pushing backwards on his chair coasters Mac slowly exhaled, took out his phone and sent a picture to the crime scene investigators. After two minutes his phone buzzed. Poison Hemlock. Conium maculatum. The leaf was a green hand of splendid shiny skin, as if the perfect alien had reached out in gentle friendship. It was as supple as paper, perhaps more so, and in the strong light it was as magnificent as any stained glass.

Sweetest Mistake

Sweetest Mistake

the woman said, pointing toward the plant in Ruztom’s right hand. Then her eyes shifted. “The other one is Hazel Cloth.” She frowned immediately. “That one is poison.” Ruztom froze. “Wash your hand.” “What?!” He threw the plant away so fast it nearly hit the cave wall before sprinting toward the water basin. At a time like this, the last thing he needed was to poison himself too. “What kind of poison is it?” Beta Armin asked cautiously while staring at the discarded plant. “You won’t die,” the woman answered calmly.

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy

He was obviously purposely walking slowly because he wanted me to catch up with him and that is something that can never happen in my reality. The words that fall out of my mouth next bring me back to reality…the reality that I am not dreaming. This is real life. “I, Poison Ivy welcomes you to the clan of the abominable dream stand that fulfils the hidden chronicles of the human body which is the only thing allowing the fish to malfunction in the coconut water of the strawberry palm fronds which the seed of the living cockroach which lives in the fourth floor of the rat's apartment shall die in the bathroom of a living specimen." And yes, I said every stupid dumbing word in one breath.

The One True Alpha

The One True Alpha

It was unreal. Gabriel and I had settled on the floor in their living room, with so many books open surrounding us. I was getting sick of trying to understand all these different plants. Some were used for medicinal purposes, others were used for witchcraft, which had endless purposes within. Trying to search for most of these on the internet was deemed pointless considering most of them are poisonous to humans, but for werewolves and other supernatural beings, they have so many different uses. Vervain. Atropa Belladonna.

Her poison, His antidote

Her poison, His antidote

The specific scent of his cologne mixed with autumn air. The brushstroke wavered again became a muddy smudge. I stepped back, gripping the brush like a weapon. "Work,"I whispered to the empty room. "Just work." I turned to a half finished piece from weeks before a swirl of cool blues and grays. I had called it Equilibrium. I tried to lose myself in blending it. My hand jerked severally, A slash of pure, violent phthalo blue cut across the delicate gradients, ruining the composition. A gasp escaped me. It was a perfect metaphor for everything. Austin had ruined the composition of my life.

MARKED BY THE ALPHA'S ROYAL BLOOD

MARKED BY THE ALPHA'S ROYAL BLOOD

I know so much about his death- so much that I don’t want Charles to know that I know But Charles seems to have had enough of the talk about his father’s death. He changed the topic immediately. “There's a root that grows near the river. It is called the barba shrub. Nobody knows, but it is very poisonous. It is only poisonous when prepared the particular way. When you grind the root, boil it in an animal dung and mixed into food, it becomes poisonous.” “Eww… won’t it smell,” his small description makes me forget about Elder Boris temporary

Unexpected Love: The Alpha Who Married Me

Unexpected Love: The Alpha Who Married Me

By now I had already finished picking all of the herbs and vegetables that I needed. Well, except for one. Tynil was one plant that I was familiar with that grew very widely everywhere. It was dark blue and had a slightly sweet aroma. It was well-known as an ornamental plant, but very people knew that it was also poisonous in the right doses. I had studied poisons in college for one semester and I was pretty sure that I knew how to extract the poison from the flower, and what dose to apply.
