Game of Power: The Adopted Luna's Redemption

Game of Power: The Adopted Luna's Redemption

He skips down the stairs, and I can barely keep up. We burst through the kitchen doors to find my mother and father sitting at the kitchen table. Both have large mugs of coffee in their hands. They are both covered in cuts and bruises. Guilt washes over me. It is my fault that they were put in a position to fight. “It isn’t your fault,” Deimos says quietly. My mother jerks her head up and smiles weakly. “It is definitely not your fault,” she echoes Deimos’s words.

Fantastic story!!! Love it as much as I love The Lycan King’s Assassin (which should be read before this book as this book is a continuation of that world and timeline, such a good read and completed! For those that hate waiting for chapters to upload, lol)

Fantastic story. I just think you need to add an epilogue say a 10 year epilogue. I also would like to known Deign point of view, I think that’s missing also. I must say that I will be going back to read the Lycon king Assassin. I wouldn’t mind reading the story that was actually before this one.

HIS UNWORTHY MATE

HIS UNWORTHY MATE

I’m sorry. -None of this is your fault; there’s no one to blame but myself. If I had been extra careful, maybe if I hadn’t gone to the party and just stayed home like the perfect mate I was supposed to be, then none of this would’ve happened. I wouldn’t have ended up sleeping with Darren and causing our mate to reject us.- -You didn’t have sex with Darren, and there’s no fault in going to your sister’s party when she invited it.- Levana bites out in a low growl.

The Billionaire's Real Daughter

The Billionaire's Real Daughter

“If only I was strong enough, Marie wouldn’t be… she is…” Astell pulled Reese for a hug and tapped her back as to comfort her. “No. This is not your fault,” Astell said while hugging her tightly. “It was an accident. No one wanted this to happen. So, don’t blame yourself. It is not your fault.” As Astell chanted these words, Reese’s expression changed. Tears fell from her lifeless eyes that stared at nothing as she was being comforted. ‘Right. It is not my fault,’ Reese told to herself. ‘It is those people’s fault for trying to ruin my future,’ she added before smiling.

Lost Love

Lost Love

He was crying and going on and on about something but I couldn’t understand what he was saying because he was a mess. I got him in the shower, and made him a grilled cheese and gave him a literal gallon of water. He had stopped crying by then but he had a distant look in his eyes. He looked empty. So I knew I needed to help him as soon as I could get him to talk about what was going on, by this point I’m worried something terrible happened. And by his standards I guess something terrible did happen. He told me that he saw Rebecca and his best friend James having sex at the party they were all at. He said he lost it and started destroying things, and yelling. Rebecca started screaming at him,

Lost Soul

Lost Soul

I woke up with a massive headache. I was out so late last night with Cassidy, she invited me to her place and of course, things got hot and heavy as it always was with her, it was good while it lasted, but when I rolled off from on top of her and I tried to close my eyes all I could see was her - Hannah. God, I miss her. I did not bother to wake up Cassidy or give her a proper goodbye. I just drove off and went home. I couldn't bear to stay and see her the following morning knowing in my heart and soul that I just want to get Hannah off of my mind and that's why I hook up with Cassidy. It's all too late knowing I made a mistake, because well, Hannah is dead.

Craving My Mafia Obsession

Craving My Mafia Obsession

“You mean you’re not mad at me, Michael? Because I really feel like it’s all my fault. I’ve been too overwhelmed and stressed, not taking proper care of myself. It’s been one thing after another, and I feel like I’m spiraling out of control. The plane crash, everything else.. I thought I could handle it all, but now, I'm not so sure,” she confides, her voice quivering with uncertainty and fear. I wrap my arms around her in a comforting embrace, holding her as close to me as I can in a gentle, soothing voice, “Sabrina, it isn’t your fault. I want you to know that I’m not mad at you, my love.” My words are filled with warmth and unwavering support.

“And I should’ve.” Silence. Then Elijah reached for him. Held his face gently. His thumb brushed Gabe’s cheek. “We both made mistakes,” he said softly. “But we’re still here.” Gabe closed his eyes. And let the tears fall.

The Birthday That Buried Us

The Birthday That Buried Us

"Jess, I'm sorry." He reached for me, but I shoved him away. "Don't touch me. You disgust me." Pain flickered across his face. "Jess, I swear, nothing happened between me and Cathy. She passed out, so I just put her in the bathtub to cool her down." I shook my head. "Save your excuses. Tell them to my Mom when you're dead. The only thing I want now is a divorce." "No." Mike's refusal came instantly. Behind him, Cathy steadied herself against the wall and frowned. "Jess, how could you curse Mike like that? Your mom's death wasn't his fault! It was those incompetent doctors! And now you're blaming him?"

Did he ever miss me? “Mia, it's not his fault,” Sylvia tried to explain. “Of course, it's not his fault!” I mocked, looking at her. “It's not your fault you hid the truth from me, it's not his fault he didn't even try looking for me all my life. Who's fault is it? It's mine! It's mine that I even exist!” I became a mess as continuous tears flowed out of my eyes. I wasn't able to stop them. “It's my fault that I'm so unlucky that no one ever wants me! It's my fault that I'm just a burden and everyone has ever just used me for their own benefit, until I come in handy! It's all my fault!” Christian was quick to take me in his hold as his arms embraced me in a hug.
