I am too young that time. I closed my eyes tightly when I suddenly step forward towards Mr. Woods and kiss him. It was just a fast and a swift kiss. I immediately step back and stared at him. He is looking at me eyes widened. His lips parted while staring at me. "Goodnight, I will get inside already. Bye." I uttered nervously and left him there. We'd both embraced the ending, whether we wanted to accept the reality or not. He pressed his lips against mine, taking his time, opening and closing his mouth. He was savoring the taste, the gentleness that we could share, the quiet moment in time. For me, the fleeting break in running for our lives was one of the most pleasurable kisses we'd shared. As he parted my lips with his tongue, sliding his inside, I clung to him, tears trickling past my lashes. After tomorrow, I'd never see him again unless on the front page of a Chicago newspaper. Dead.

I knew what was coming before his lips moved. But I didn’t want to believe it. “Lucien, you’re scaring me.” I gripped his shoulders, my fingers digging into the blood-stained fabric. “What’s going on? “Curious, Your Highness? Am I not allowed to surprise you?” His lips curled—not quite a smile. More like a warning. “Surprises,” he said, “usually come with a price.”

He pulled back slightly, looking into her eyes with an intensity that made her shiver. "I've been dying to kiss you since the moment you walked in," he admitted, his voice raw. Hailey's breath hitched, and she pulled him back to her, their lips crashing together once more. This time, the kiss was even more fervent, filled with the unspoken emotions and desires that had been building between them. Cassian's hands roamed over her body as if trying to memorize every curve and contour, while Hailey's hands moved under his shirt, feeling the warmth of his skin.

“I’m here. I survived the fall. The King… It doesn’t matter. I’m here.” Andrei’s eyes searched my face. She dying to touch him, to hug him, to tell him that she love him, to plan every single day on how she would spend it with him until the end of her time. She couldn't help breaking down in the thought of loosing that chance, "I-i love you... s-so bad, H-how can I let y-you go?" she could hardly breathe, "I-i can't..." The last thing she said before she claims his lips and take him in her arms. She misses those... so much. If this will be the last kiss, she will take it then and probably hoping it's a dream that she would never have to wake up. Everything turns black as she passed out.

“Time is bleeding. And the war’s already begun.” His lips parted. I expected a command, or maybe a curse. But instead, he took my face in his hands and kissed me—desperate, raw, like he knew what it cost to love me now. It was the kiss of a dying world and a promise not yet broken. Behind us, the temple crumbled. But I didn't look back.

She teased, trying to lighten the mood. Killian leaned in, his face inches from hers. “I have to be. You're the best investment I've ever made.” “An investment?” Faith raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing on her lips. “The only one I'm willing to die for,” Killian whispered. He leaned in and kissed her. It wasn't a rough or possessive kiss. It was soft, lingering, and full of a promise. It felt like a goodbye and a hello at the same time. When he pulled away, Faith’s heart was racing.

"If you want to save him, fine. But if you do, we're getting a divorce. I won't stop you." She pried my fingers off and glared at me. "I'm trying to save a life! You're a doctor yourself. How can you stop me? Divorce isn't something you throw around lightly. What are you thinking?" A white-haired elderly woman stood next to the drowned man. When she heard us arguing, she dropped to her knees. "You're both doctors. You can't just watch him die. Please, save my son. He's the only one I have," she pleaded desperately.
