Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“I am an old fellow, I won't look my eyes out; but I'1l call everybody this minute, let others stare at you.” “I'11 come down!” cried Basira. With that, Zastar turned toward the side of the house. “As God lives, somebody is coming!” said he. In fact, from behind the corner appeared young Adam Novoveski, who, coming on horseback, had tied his beast at the side-gate and passed around the house himself, wishing to enter through the main door. Basira, seeing him, was on the ground in two springs, but too late. Unfortunately, Sir Adam had seen her springing from the ladder, and stood confused, astonished, and covered with blushes like a young girl. Basira stood before him in the same way, till a

Each room had a similar medallion and matching wall moldings. He looked over at the large flat-screen television mounted to the wall, next to the mantel, but it would provide no escapism for him tonight. The satellite hadn’t been installed yet, so the portal into those fictional worlds was closed for the time being. Luckily, television wasn’t the only portal, and certainly not the best. On the end table next to the sofa he’d left the book he was currently reading, the newest one in Robert McCammon’s historical mystery series. A bookmark stuck out about a third of the way through.

A Don's Tale

A Don's Tale

He rented a car and drove to the small town. The town was even more beautiful than he had seen in photos. White houses cascaded down the hillside in layers, and the stone streets were polished smooth and shiny with age. Every windowsill had bright flowers blooming on it. Lorenzo walked through the streets, watching the people coming and going. A strange feeling welled up in his heart. It was too quiet and too beautiful here, completely unlike the world full of violence and scheming he had lived in. He suddenly felt that Elena truly belonged here, in a beautiful place like this, living a life of such peace.

Viktor: A Bratva Wolves Novella

“I know it hurts, but try not to show the enemy it’s affecting you, okay-” “It doesn’t hurt, mom,” her son says with a shrug. “We’re really not pretending.” “Yeah, I don’t feel pain either. Besides, Uncle Kai will be coming to save us, right?” the little girl says. The shock on Nova’s face is palpable and she offers them a tight smile before looking at Nikolai. “Okay, are you going to tell me what’s up with Nova’s creepy kids?” I ask, gesturing towards the glass. “They can’t feel pain?”

Oh wow.. for this one to be so much shorter than the rest, it sure still packed a strong emotional punch that, like the others, left me wanting more. This author is truly one of the best on here! Absolutely excited for Creeds story and any others to come! Good job author! :)

I am so incredibly happy J Tarr wrote this book. It is so well written, as is all of her work. Viktor was one of my favorite characters of the series, so I was glad to get more of him. I can't wait for Creed's book now!!!

The story had to feel genuine and I waited until I knew it was perfect and respectful enough to write. 2. I did not know how I was going to write it. I didn't know if I wanted it to be a poem, a 50 page book, a novel, or whatever. I knew I had a message I wanted to tell, but I wanted to make the story interesting as well. So I decided to turn it into a novella, because it was not too long and it was not too short. It was the perfect length for me to create my story.

The Watchmaker's Will"

The Watchmaker's Will"

The sensation of falling did not exist within the void. Anaya stood in an absolute, infinite expanse of pure, unblemished white. There was no floor beneath her boots, yet she felt perfectly grounded. There was no sky above, yet a gentle, sourceless luminescence illuminated everything. The deafening roar of the collapsing conservatory, the shriek of the tearing brass rings, and the desperate screams of Alistair Vance had vanished, replaced by a silence so profound she could hear the rhythmic ticking of her own pulse.

Dark Tales Of Midnight: A Collection Of Taboo Stories

Dark Tales Of Midnight: A Collection Of Taboo Stories

VANESSA’S POV His lips crashed against hers, swallowing her breath as they locked into a deep, bruising kiss. The sight sent a strange, conflicting shockwave through my chest, but I couldn't stop. Even as their mouths fused and their bodies shifted against the plush cushions of the couch, I dropped heavily to my knees on the cold floor, lowering my head toward him. My hands cupped the thick, throbbing base of his erection, and I took him directly into my mouth. The slick, pulsing heat of his dick hit the back of my throat, making my eyes water as I forced myself to establish a steady, relentless rhythm. My wrist ached and my jaw throbbed, but I kept my pace, my entire body burning with a vol

Tales of Desire

"My car died about a mile back and the road just vanished behind me." "Sit down," he replied, already moving to the small kitchen area where a woodstove glowed red. He poured steaming coffee from a battered pot into a heavy ceramic mug and handed it to me, our fingers brushing. "Storm like this can last days. You're not going anywhere tonight." "I'm Nora Kane," I told him after the first careful sip burned pleasantly down my throat. "I'm a travel journalist. Supposed to be writing about people who choose to live off-grid, but I clearly picked the worst possible week to try it."

Drip-sturbation: 40 shades of sin

Chapter 1: Sinful thoughts I lay on the big king size bed in the master bedroom, the sheets already twisted around my legs. My husband had left yesterday morning for his week-long business trip. He had given me the usual quick kiss at the door and promised to call when he landed, but I knew he probably wouldn’t.
