“Mommy, hang up. I’m boycotting Uncle Javier until I’m grown. I don’t want to see him again. Never ever ever.” I dropped onto the end of the couch, leaning back and propping my feet on the coffee table. I held the phone a little farther away, giving Javier the full view: his niece half-hiding, half-peeking from behind her pillow. “As you can see,” I said casually. “Princess Chaos is entering her down-with-the-patriarchy era.”

She whispered to herself and started the ignition. As she merged onto the highway, a sudden realization struck her. ‘This is the perfect opportunity to infiltrate Carlos' home without arousing suspicion.’ The voice in her head whispered. ‘By the time he wakes up tomorrow and recalls the event of tonight, you would have won his trust completely. He can't help but be indebted to you.’ She battled with the thought in her head. Carlos was already a handful but it was true that she had a shot with him. At the next red light, she made a sudden decision and turned the car around, back to the club.

He didn't use logic; he used the feeling of the cold Andes wind and the taste of blood. The Shattering of the Dream The "Perfect City" began to crack. The amber light turned a muddy, flickering gray. My back arched, and he took the opportunity to slide inside of my ready core. Gripping my leg, he pulled my knee up to reach the angle that makes my eyes roll. “Chaos,” I whimpered, “Talk to me.” His eyes bled black, “Tu attonitus es,” he moaned, “amabo te in perpetuum.”

Damn it, Lesha, this is why you're still single, I think to myself. I look up at him, and to my surprise, his eyes darken and he smiles. "That can't be true, because you are really fucking beautiful." he says. It is silent for a while after he said that, because I had no reply for that. He sighs. "I'm sorry if that freaked you out, why don't we just dance?" he asks in a low husky voice. I nod, and he takes my hands, just as I hear Xeno's favorite song came on, I can f**k you all time by Jeremih ft lil Wayne. I smile, remembering how she taught me how to dance to it. I am feeling really confident while dancing to this song, but then again, that could just be the alcohol in my system.

Lena took another look around the warehouse. Then— Boom. Flames roared to life, turning Kane’s empire into a burning graveyard. Evelyn grinned. “That should get his attention.” Lena’s phone buzzed. A new message. Unknown Number: “You just made the biggest mistake of your life.” Lena smirked. “We’ll see about that.” The War Was No Longer Silent.

He didn't try to continue but instead just waited for me to answer his question. My chest tightened slightly. "It's just chaos," I admitted. He tilted his head, his eyebrows knitting together as he searched my face. "Chaos how?" He's going to think I'm insane, I thought. Well right now he just thinks you're pathetic; insane would be an improvement. I couldn't keep my gasp internalized. My mouth fell open in horror and I dug my nails into my palms as I tried to hold back the tears in my eyes. Xavier said my name in a growl, forcing my gaze back to his. "What?" he asked.

She announced the line that everyone in the classroom was waiting to hear after two hours of class in that course. "How did you know it?" Orion started to nag me early this morning. He sent him to get me a few things.” She responds. Perdition goes behind the bar and gets a bottle. “You guys might want a shot before I tell you what’s going on. I honestly think I need a couple.” Perdition says as she pours four double shots of whiskey. “Don’t worry, JJ. I have something special for us.” She says. She adds Heaven’s nectar to hers and JJs shot. They each take their shot.
