Diane pleaded as tears streamed down her cheeks. She had been incredibly afraid of fire ever since her father perished in the flames when she was at a young age. He had rushed into a flaming barn that had caught fire due to her childish antics to rescue her favourite doll despite barely making it out with her earlier. Almost as if a presentiment, he never made it back out. Ever since then, Diane had beaten herself up over his death and had been afraid of large fires.
