Author's POV “There's a spy amongst us,” Ethan had revealed to the three men he trusted within the bikers. The men raised their heads, their faces crumpling in confusion and disbelief. They never believed that with everything they had been through together, there would still be someone amongst them who was willing to betray them at all costs. “You are surprised, aren't you?” The men nodded. “I'm equally surprised too, but the presidents suspect that there is a spy amongst us and honestly, I think so too. Our crops being destroyed must have been done by someone within the pack, though the former Alpha might have ordered it.”

And I hated myself for thinking it, for letting suspicion creep into a friendship that had once felt unbreakable. I couldn’t even remember how we became friends. It had happened so naturally. She was one of the techies who frequented the cafe where I worked afternoon shifts when I was in school. We started talking in passing, then in longer conversations.
