It could be that they simply wanted him out because he was digging into their history and they framed him and had him replaced by another person just to get him out of the way. Then spoke again. “There are more supporters than expected.” Another pause. More silent communication. The spy’s eyes narrowed. Finally came the most important report. “And she’s stronger than we thought.” A long silence followed. Then a smile appeared. Small. Cold. Cruel. “Much stronger.” The device went dark.

I asked her, and she nodded as she stared at me. "We’re friends, but..." I didn’t let her speak as I turned away from the others, who seemed to be reading our lips. One thing was making me scared, and that was the fact that amongst them, there seemed to be a spy. I didn’t know who it was, but I was sure these men would never leave us like this, all by ourselves, when they knew how strong we were together.
