The room was almost similar to Tanya's spell room. There were candles, glass vials with different liquids, and books on the shelves. Scarlet moved around the room frantically, she took a glass bottle containing a white substance. It was like salt and she poured it on the floor making a circle around Vincent. She scattered everywhere looking for something. Cyrus appeared in the room, seeing Scarlet moving around scattering the books on the shelf. " What are you doing?" he asked her but she avoided his question, then she picked a book from the pile she had thrown on the floor.

Scarlet replied, acting like she wanted to cover her nose. Cassandra, who has witnessed this, steps up. She couldn't believe what just happened. “Wait, wait. Why are you so mean to her?” Cassandra wonders. Scarlet crossed her arms, while smirking at Cassandra. “We are not mean to her. In fact, we are just stating the fact that this woman is a curse in our pack,” Scarlet mumbled. I keep my mouth shut, despite how my blood boils inside my body. Scarlet is really annoying and if I just don't know how to control myself, I have already shut her off.

I tell her. “Already done,” Will says, coming up behind me. “You’re trying to ruin my fun, aren’t you, Will?” Scarlet says. “I’m still going to go make sure she finds her way. She’s looking at bit … discombobulated this morning. I wouldn’t want the poor girl stumbling into the wrong room accidentally,” she says, with mock concern. I shake my head and watch as Scarlet jogs off. “I love that woman, but damn she can be scary,” Daniel says.

Chapter 19 Scarlett's POV I wasn't scared anymore. I was angry. Whatever Christian was hiding wasn’t ordinary. And I was done waiting for answers. I hurried past Clementina, my feet moving so fast I felt I was flying. Heat rushed to my face and with each step I was taking deep breaths, completely ignoring the elderly woman calling out to me from behind. I pushed the door of every room in the west wing until I found his bedroom door and shoved it hard enough that it banged against the wall.
