Tiny diamonds formed a ring of stars, cradling a silver crescent in the center. My breathing stopped. I had sketched that design when I was fifteen, in the corner of my old sketchbook. The day Ryan confessed to me, he had pointed at that drawing, his voice shaking. “Jane, one day when I have money, I’ll make this for you. “Stars always stay beside the moon. “Just like I’ll never break my promise to you.” Now he had finally made it. He just put it on someone else. On screen, Wendy touched the pendant at her collarbone and smiled shyly.

"The moon is the symbol of pack power. By making the stars brighter, aren't you suggesting a shift in the hierarchy?" "I’m suggesting that even on a moonless night, the stars can still burn your eyes out," I replied, a smirk playing on my lips. "The stars are selfless. They provide the light without demanding the throne. But they are numerous. And together, they are a Galaxy." I rotated the hologram. The stars shifted, realigning into a sharp, geometric pattern. "Is that... a letter?" someone whispered.

The Last Tree trembled again. The lights overhead began drifting downward. One by one. Thousands. Millions. Like stars falling from heaven. Nova stared in wonder. Each light carried a memory. A life. A story. A universe. The traveler extended a hand. One of the lights settled gently into their palm. "This was the first ending." The memory expanded. Reality shifted. And suddenly, everyone saw it. A universe. The first universe. Small. Beautiful. Young. Nova watched impossible stars illuminate impossible skies. Entire galaxies bloomed like flowers.

ALISA’S POV The live stream had ended thirty minutes ago, but the city didn’t need me to sign off. It was already voting with every share, every comment, every desperate phone call flooding Kael’s inbox. I stood in the middle of the penthouse living room, barefoot on cool marble, wearing only one of his black shirts that skimmed my thighs. The claiming mark on my shoulder throbbed in time with the bond—golden threads pulsing warm and constant, like they were sealing us into something eternal. Kael paced three steps away, phone pressed to his ear, voice low and lethal as he dismantled yet another threat.

Teyla leans her head against my shoulder, and I can feel her heartbeat matching mine in a steady rhythm. “Look at all those stars,” she says, her voice dreamy. “It’s like they’re celebrating us.” I glance up, marveling at the brilliance of the night sky. “Just like we’re celebrating our love,” I reply, turning to capture her gaze once more. “Every star up there is a promise, a reminder of all we can be together.” She smiles softly, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “I want to fill our lives with adventures, Thorn. I want to explore everything together..: every corner of this world, and every corner of each other’s hearts and bodies.”

I asked, hoping as much as I could, that he would not say I looked like any of the broken heart Europeans who travel to Guts Island every year to seek solace in the arms of the sunny city. “I didn’t say so, but I’ve had a couple of them in my car”. He said, sounding as casual as I, too, had sounded at the first place. “You mean?”. “Broken hearted people, and they only ask for Tatiana, because her voice was a remedy to the sore in their hearts”. “But you don’t have Tatiana”. “I purposely got rid of it, because I want them to listen less to what broke them the more, since they came to Guts Island to ease heal their broken heart”.

“Great. Another riddle.” --- Lena weightlessly floated in the endless expanse of stars. The space surrounding her wasn’t gloomy, but vibrant with countless tiny lights, each one throbbing in sync with her heartbeat. She extended her hand, her fingers grazing one of the lights, and an instant surge of warmth enveloped her senses. A voice echoed through the space, soft yet commanding. “The threads of your destiny have brought you here, Lena. Do you see them?” “Threads?” Lena whispered, turning slowly. The stars began to shift, forming shimmering lines that connected one to another, creating a vast, intricate web. Each thread carried memories, her childhood, her cursed life, her moments with Ka
