I see that tiny body, wrapped in life, moving its little arms as if already fighting from the very first second.
"She… she's…" My voice fails completely.
"Perfect," Manu whispers, exhausted.
And then another contraction grips her, burning through her, tearing through the air around us.
"Second baby is coming," the doctor alerts, with experienced serenity. "Manu, almost there. Very close. Breathe deeply. That's it."
