I raised my fists again and looked straight at them. “Got the message?” The first warrior wiped blood from his lip, filling his eyes with anger. “You’re dead,” he said through a voice of disgust before lunging at me once more. But I was prepared. I dodged his swing to grab onto his wrist and twist it until it broke. He roared out in agony as I pressed my foot on the back of his knees and shoved him face first into the ground. The second warrior hesitated, looking at his comrade then back to me. He took a step back.

Before Ximi was given the glorious right to fight the Draco, the 2nd warrior was supposed to be the one to go there. Just like before, Ximi and the 2nd warrior participated in a fight for the right to be champion. It was a brutal fight that Ximi barely won. If not for Ximi’s evolution, the two of them are equal in ability and strength. With the last elders till roaring, the 2nd warrior finally took the courage and roared again. As we got away from the warriors, we took position facing each other, now in full fighting position.

And despite the pain I was feeling, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of hope at her words. A flicker of hope, a tiny ember of longing, still burned within me.
