The Rejected Alpha Scarlett Novels & Stories

“I, Kaelen Vance, Alpha of the Bloodmoon Pack and King of the Western Territories, reject the arrangement of the heavens.” The words echoed in my ears, amplified a thousand times over, no longer muffled by the ring’s ancient protective runes. The rejection wasn't just a memory; it was a living, breathing monster devouring me from the inside out. Five years of frozen tears thawed in a single heartbeat. Five years of pretending I was whole, of convincing myself that I had survived the ultimate betrayal unscathed, evaporated into the freezing northern air.

The word sliced deeper than the bond’s agony. I searched his face desperately, looking for doubt, for regret, anything. There was nothing. Only iron resolve and something darker beneath it, something he refused to acknowledge. The elders exchanged uneasy glances, but none stepped forward to challenge him. Alpha law was absolute. The rejection was final. The pain subsided slowly, leaving behind a hollow ache so vast it stole my breath. I wrapped my arms around myself, shaking, my world reduced to fragments. I had been claimed. And then discarded.

I couldn’t breathe. The air felt too thick, too suffocating. “Did he really think the Alpha would accept him?” someone sneered behind me. “A male omega? Disgusting.” “As if any Alpha would claim one of those.” The words stabbed into me, one after another, their edges sharper than any blade. I wanted to move, to run, but my body was frozen in place, my mind reeling from the force of Cassius’s rejection. I lifted my gaze to his, searching—desperate—for something, anything, that might tell me he didn’t mean it. That last night hadn’t just been… nothing.

Zach didn’t sound happy as well. But he ignored them. “Omegas don’t reject Alphas, it’s usually the other way round, so let me give you what you want. I, Baron Salvatore, son of Alpha David Salvatore, hereby reject you, Scarlett Melton, as my…” The rest of his words were cut off by a punch to his face. I raised my head to see it was Trenton, the cold, aloof guy. “Stop being a dumbass and get your emotions in check.”

If only they knew that my mate rejected me. "Hey Vee, where have you been hiding, you lazy ass" It was Aurora's tiny voice. I could hear her giggling as she walked up to me. I quickly dried up the tears on my face and took in three deep breaths before turning around to face my friend. A huge smile was plastered on my face, concealing the redness of my eyes. "Aurora, how's the preparation coming through?" I smiled as I hugged her warmly. Aurora and Jenna are beta werewolves. We've been friends since childhood and were almost inseparable. I loved my friends so much and told them everything but how do I tell them that my mate is the future alpha of the pack and he has rejected me?

Scarlet said and Aztec looked at her, wondering whether this woman was dumb or just dense. Scarlet was clearly a wolf in the Marshall pack, so how come she had no clue what the Alpha looked like? Then again, it wasn't like Aztec liked showing himself to people. But still, couldn't she have made an effort to know who her Alpha was? The amount of regret that Scarlet was feeling right now was like a punch to the gut. She hated herself for forfeiting a chance to be with the handsome Alpha who was obviously even better than her good for nothing Alfred.

His action was fierce, and the pain mixed with pleasure brought tears to Scarlet's eyes. "Do you know my sister?" She asked, trying her best to keep her voice composed. The alpha hooked Scarlet's chin and bent down to capture her lips. Scarlet dodged it. If this alpha really knew one of her sisters and was even sent by her, then she wouldn't mind killing him right here and now. [DING! AFFECTION POINT +5] [FIRST TARGET: 15] Scarlet's eyes flashed. What was going on? The alpha's eyes softened slightly when he saw Scarlet's rejection of rejecting him.

Like she hadn't been the same person tenaciously demanding for me to be punished. The space quickly spun around me. Edgar definitely made Alpha Scarlett change her mind. But how? Only one person was ever rumored to be the antidote to Alpha Scarlett's viper-like blood. The Alpha King. The very man rumored to warm her bed. Then, Alpha Scarlett bit out, suppressed anger laced through her voice. “Since the party is over before it's even started, all thanks to someone. Everyone should get their asses back to their homes.” Then, she leaned in, her mouth pressed beside my dazzled face.

He was weird and perhaps a freak… but do I care? Remember me, Scarlet Rossi, the forgotten daughter of Beta Vincent who is betrothed to Alpha’s brother. Giving away my virginity to a stranger whose name I refused to know, the stranger that I met at a ball organized my pack’s biggest enemy. I, Scarlett Rossi, might have just started a war.

“That by rejecting your fated mate, you brought the wrath of the Moon Goddess upon yourself.” Cain’s eyes darkened and he clenched his fists. “They confused strength with weakness. A man who bows to fate without question is no Alpha. I rejected what was mine then. And I regret it—because now, I have chosen her back. And this time, I will not let her go.” Alpha Lucien chuckled and said, “So this meeting is about a woman.”
