Beyond Rejection.

Beyond Rejection.

His grin widens. “You’d make all the priests sin if you joined, Ana.” My pulse jumps. I lick my lips. “I don’t know how to put this… I like you a lot, Anastasia. It’s sudden… with your pregnancy, but we can make it work.” This is the offer I had been dying to hear about a month ago. Why isn’t it tempting? “Make it work? You just said your father rejected the match.” “Because of his reasons, not mine. I’m the Alpha, I can do whatever I want.”

Mine to Keep

Mine to Keep

Alie The invitation says Conversation on Story: Building Worlds for Real Life which is the kind of title that makes you feel smart while you drink tea out of a paper cup and pretend the folding chair isn’t a folding chair. The bookstore is small, all honeyed wood and lamps that try to be kind. Someone strung twinkle lights between nonfiction and essays, like stars got cozy in the ceiling.

Take My Rejection Back!

Take My Rejection Back!

How can you do that? Today, here and now, I have been able to say what I have been waiting for for almost a year and a half, since I turn 18, and I know that Brandon also wants this "I, Elle Taylor, accept your rejection." but what I see makes me think I did something wrong. Dominic also looked a little surprised. So I repeat: "I, Elle Taylor, accept your rejection." But Brandon's face has no sign of stress, not even a blink. "What happens here?" I ask confused.

Accidental Bibliophiles

Accidental Bibliophiles

The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you." I say just as Bri nudges me. "Oh! Tell them your joke, love!" Harper says excitedly. Ev rolls his eyes before addressing the group.

The Darkness Within

The Darkness Within

I said, and Rick nodded as he walked to the center of the room and dropped into a chair. My fingers glide along the books as I read their titles. I pull one out, glance at the first few pages, and then slip it back into its place before continuing. “Hmmm,” I hummed as I squatted to see the books at the bottom. My fingers glide along the books, and my heart stops when I read one of the titles, “How to Reject a Mate and the Consequences that Follow.” Slowly, I pulled the book from its slot and flipped through a few pages.

Vicki McCall
This book is another one of the author's that can't be put down. Each chapter draws you in and each character evokes emotion from the reader. I can't recommend it enough. If you love supernatural fantasy with love, passion, romance, mystery, suspense and adventure then you will love it as I do.
Katrina
Thank you for continuing to work on this book. I was wondering how it turned out for Ivy and Vivian when they turned 18, were they mates or not. As always you are an incredible writer ......️.........

The Gift Of Rejection

The Gift Of Rejection

I clenched my fists, mouthing the answers I didn't know, willing him to get them right. The score was tied. It all came down to the final question. The room was so quiet you could hear the hum of the air conditioning. Even Jason, sitting in the front row, was leaning forward, his elbows on his knees, watching intently. "Final question," the host said, pausing for dramatic effect. "For the championship and the scholarship to Eton College... In 1859, Charles Darwin published a work that introduced the scientific theory that populations evolve over the course of generations through a process of natural selection. What is the full title of this book?"

Queen of Wolves

Queen of Wolves

That was the truth, and it steadied me in a way I did not expect. Selun studied me for a moment, then gave a small nod. “Yes, but you have not accepted her fully.” That made something in me pause. “I did not reject her,” I replied, confusion threading through my words, because I remembered that moment clearly, the calm, the understanding, the way nothing about her had felt wrong. “You did not,” Selun agreed, “but acceptance is more than recognition, it is union.” Union. The word settled deeper. I exhaled slowly, my gaze dropping for a brief moment before lifting again, more focused now, more aware of what she was asking of me. “What do I need to do?” I asked.

Blood beneath the ice

Blood beneath the ice

Kane added, "The dad and son one. Family acceptance section. Huge need there." Fulfilled smiles crossed their faces. The kitchen table held notes and opened letters. Sun moved across the room but their talk never slowed. "This decision feels right," Elias said. "Ripples from our journey grow with this book." Kane took his hand. "We created real change. Letters prove it. Writing fulfills that even more." They shared a quiet moment then jumped back into plans. "Cover idea," Kane threw out. "Ice under stars. Simple but strong." Elias agreed. "And inside, our words raw. Courage whispers loud on pages."

The Alpha Who Rejected Me

The Alpha Who Rejected Me

“And I am the last Alpha you were ever meant to belong to.” Fear and hope collided violently in my chest. “I don’t want another bond,” I whispered. “I don’t want to be broken again.” Knox stepped closer—but stopped himself, hands fisting at his sides as if holding back instinct. “I will never ask you to endure,” he said, voice low and dangerous. “I will never make you beg to be chosen.” His eyes burned into mine. “If you accept me,” he continued, “it will be because you want me.”
