I clutched my chest as I took offense at his word and let out a loud gasp. “I hate you.” I whispered and looked away from his gapping face as I followed the two princes to the open area where they were supposed to execute Ingka. Unfortunately, there were too many people around that it was hard for us to pass through all of them. “Damn these people!” Ace cursed and by the looks of it, he was desperately trying hard not to hit people in the head for pushing him. He even growled at a girl when she tried to move past him.

He glanced at the knife still trembling in my hand, then at my face. “Stay here. I’m going to the docks.”

Ace threatened pointing at Valerie's dead body. I wiped my tears and sprang up, I saw a smile appear on his face but when I started to speak it faded into a scowl. "Fine then, you've made your choice," A sinister smile played on his lips and he pointed the gun at me. But to my surprise, he fell to the floor.

“Take a seat.” Ace stumbled over, sat heavily. He stared up at the other men now, and waited. “So here’s the deal.” King narrowed his eyes. “You just killed your President.” “I what?” Ace jumped to his feet. “I – I didn’t kill him!”

He didn’t wait for a response he just hurriedly walked to their room. Pushing the doors open, Erica stood over Runa’s paralyzed body as she placed something over her. “Call your pack, they’ll be here any moment.” She warned to a confused Ace. “I finally know who this is.” Ace blinked before setting the children down, “Who are they Erica??” He asked to which she smirked. “You’re not gonna like it but it’s my dead daughter. Also your dead mate.” Those words left him silent. What was he going to do now?

“Let’s negotiate.” He smirked. “Your move.” I stood, hands raised. “Esther’s dead!” Giovanni stepped into view, flanked by shadows. “Liar.” “Am I?” I nodded to Valerie, who dragged Esther’s limp form into the street. Ace’s shot rang out—a perfect bullet through Giovanni’s eye. The world erupted. Ace yanked me down as return fire shredded the car. “Happy?” I grinned. “Getting there.” His laugh was dark, alive, *mine*. “Psychopath.”

Of course, Azula did not want to admit that she could not establish contact with Ace these days.
