The last turn was dealt, and it was the king of spades. The short man threw his cards on the table, and it was two aces. No wonder he was that confident, it WAS a great hand. "Show me yours!" He was not in the mood to mind any manners. "If you had asked nicely," Erebus flipped his cards with two fingers in s swift move, "I would have told you earlier." It was a three of spades and a five of diamonds. He took the 150 million pot with a straight, a hand slightly bigger than the three aces the short man was now squeezing in his hand.

I didn’t blink. I have one more card. The dealer burned the final card. Slowly, so slowly, it flipped. Three of spades, gaps echoed around the table. F A loud crash rang out. Chad had fallen from his chair, dropping to his knees. His fists clenched in his hair. Tears streamed down his face.

She got nervous quickly and said, “Buffy, I…” No one spoke. Everyone plunged into silence. Luis was stunned, Zenika was speechless, and Wesley’s mind went blank. Sitting opposite Kaze, Buffy looked petrified. Her expression turned as white as a sheet and she could not form a sentence properly. No one expected this to happen.

"Got one!" Rana yelled. She snatched a diamond card with a written '6' on it. "Here!" Megera shouted next as he pulled out a heart card with a written '3' on it. I found the next one, a spades with the number '0' on it. But the last one was nowhere to be found. We turned every single card over. "It's not here. They must've forgotten it!" Rana fearfully said.

He was convinced he would win. I slipped my second card under the first, leaving just the corner exposed. It could be an ace. It could be a four. Let them guess. I smiled. "Your turn, Uncle." He quickly flipped his second card. Three of spades. My face changed instantly. If he had the smallest straight flush, I would lose badly. "Niece, open your cards." I clenched my fists and flipped. Two of spades. A gasp rippled through the room. "How is that possible? That was clearly an ace!"
