Aina
She looked spellbound. All of a sudden, lightning and thunder grumbled through the night sky. The crowd didn't seem to be bothered by the impending rain. Jesse and K wouldn't give a damn about it, too. As for K, she was having the time of her life. A little rain on a hot and humid New York summer night in the middle of a fucking concert wouldn't hurt. Murmurs filled the air as the audience waited for the next act. Jesse turned to K, leaning towards her ear. "Can you tell me what K stands for?"

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

"And it fell in love with a prince, got its heart broken, and disappeared into the water, right?" "I don't think it would've fallen in love with a prince. Sevin's a male koi. It probably turned back into a fish after the rain and was picked up by some random person and cooked into a fish stew," Keegan said in a serious tone. "What do you think a 30-pound koi taste like?" Stella was baffled by his response. "Keegan, come on." The man chuckled and stopped teasing her. "Alright, alright. I have some work to do. I'll call you later."

I am on chapter 1700 and trust me this has to be the only book here that I have not lost interest in,i.e, the chapters have not dragged on and you literally are on the edge of your seat throughout the book. Enjoyed the whole book except the last few chapters.Hope the story doesn't become cliched now
Aileen AC
What makes this story good are the characters, mainly the lead characters. Unlike other stories where the leads are usually portrayed as someone omnipotent with multiple hidden excellent identities, both Stella and Keegan have their own flaws and weaknesses, which made their characters more charming

I Got Married For Revenge

I Got Married For Revenge

“There are so many! You must have been breeding them for years.” “Indeed, I have,” Celeste said with a knowing smile. “Each one of them is premium-bred.” “…In Japanese culture, koi are more than just ornamental fish. They symbolize perseverance through adversity, quiet strength, transformation, love, good fortune… even longevity.” Melissa nodded, trying not to look too impressed. Her fingers lightly brushed the edge of the pond as her eyes followed the gentle swirls of color beneath the surface. Then, Celeste’s gaze shifted to a smaller pond just across from them.

The Devil's Game

The Devil's Game

Its waters shimmered in hues of gold and orange, the fish gliding beneath the surface like living jewels. She'd once overheard a servant say Lucian imported them from Kyoto at absurd prices just to impress a foreign investor who never came. The extravagance had irritated her—until she saw the koi. Now, she came here whenever she needed to remember beauty still existed, even behind gilded bars. That day, the air had been unusually warm for spring. The sky hung low and sleepy, clouds drifting lazily overhead. Ayra and Elias had amused themselves by pointing them out—arguing over which one looked more like a wolf, or a ship, or a spilled bowl of soup.

His Mail Order Bride

His Mail Order Bride

He soon dips his legs into the pond and I watch as the fishes swim around, interested in the strange object before swimming away. "You can do that?" I ask and he nods, a small smile on his face. "They don't bite?" "They would nibble, but they won't cause any serious harm. Koi fishes aren't aggressive. Come on." He urges me. I stare at him before tentatively dipping my legs into the pond, startled by how cool the water feels against my skin. Just like what they did to him, the fishes swim around my legs, some growing curious and nibbling at it. The sensation is ticklish and I let out a small chuckle.

The Heiress' Mysterious Bodyguard

They seemed to be playing around. "Oh, look! How beautiful they are," Emily muttered as she took out her phone. While she was photographing a group of silver, red, and black fish, Cayden whispered, "Do you know why koi fish are often used in various designs?" Emily glanced over briefly. "Because they are a symbol of good luck?"

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

A large stream of blue light emerged from his solar plexus and extended upwards. The hippocamp bent its long, slender neck and lowered its head towards the blue Slayer. Sasha then held the creature’s head under the long snout and pressed his forehead against its own. From what she had seen of the technique earlier, Aki knew Sasha was now performing the Dobutsu to no Kaiwa Jutsu (Animal Communication Technique). He was sending images, impressions and even memories from his own mind into the animal’s. All blue Slayers could do this towards marine animals. The brown Slayers of the south had a similar technique towards land animals.

Luan Shi Kuang Dao,humble swordsman
No one would believe this if told. "This fish tastes good, but it's a little hot. I'll give you one. Here, Human Pet. You're welcome." Evil Moon left the smallest koi to Ding Hao very nicely. Ding Hao was speechless. "These Crimsonflame Koi are purified by the Earth Fire. They are of great help to fire-attribute cultivators, and they're one of the rare divine objects. They can only grow in a specific environment. You can catch some, but you need to hurry up," Ding Honglei said.

Living With My Hot Teacher (ENGLISH)

Living With My Hot Teacher (ENGLISH)

he softly said while handing me his black cap now. And because I do not want to argue with him and I also do not want to catch any attention, I quickly got the cap from his hand and wear it and after that, I immediately went down of the golf cart to walk towards the big glass pond without any word and without looking at him. My mouth immediately formed an "o" when I finally saw the big number of koi fish. They come in different colors and sizes and I get excited and happy as I watch them swim in the pond.
