I caught my breath, my heart hammering against my ribs, and turned around. Adrien was standing there in running gear. Half of his face was still submerged in the pre-dawn shadows, making him look even more mysterious. “Dr. Adrien?” I stammered, stunned. He didn't smile. He just looked at me with that signature deadpan expression before dropping the line: “Eighty euros.”

Rino was pouring another drink, and I could feel the heat of his anger radiating off him. "We aren't doing this again, Alessia," he said, "The date is set for next month. My people are ready. Adriana snapped at him. "Bold of you to assume I would let you do that. You have no Idea what kind of mess you have landed in. By the way, I am Nathan, beta of a werewolf pack and our Alpha is madly in love with you." He squinted his eyes at her.
