UPRISING

UPRISING

Here, hidden from the prying eyes above, plans were hatched, alliances solidified, and the foundation of resistance laid. Yet, as the dissidents advanced in their quest for a free Athena, a counterforce moved in the shadows – a faction within the city loyal to Gaius, with informants embedded deep within the dissenters' ranks. Among these informants was Aelia, a seemingly inconspicuous maid in the royal palace who covertly relayed crucial information to the throne.

Pure Blood

Pure Blood

Gail showed the two books he had been holding to Al earlier, "You know what book this is? It's a book about the Aima Kingdom." Al took a deep breath, "I've read it. Go now." Gail smiled, "The book you read is only a small part of the book series on the documentation of the Aima Kingdom. This book is book number four and number eight, concerning the Queen of Aima and the Prince of the Kingdom of Aima ."

The Forbidden Desires (ENGLISH)

The Forbidden Desires (ENGLISH)

I recalled Neth mentioning his name. The guy smiled and leaned closer to the screen to get a better look at me. He ran his tongue over his lower lip, catching my attention and revealing his reddened lips. “Yeah. It’s nice to see you again…” His gaze fixed on me. “Athena Aine…” I gasped. My eyes widened a bit. How did he know my second name? And what does he mean by ‘again’?

When Arrows Fly

When Arrows Fly

I said, watching Aeon as he shakes his head. “Aye. You know it’s weird to think that though, cause Gaea’s everywhere. Those gnomes you ask must have been the ones who’ve gone psycho.” He scratches the back of his neck before standing up. Aeon walks towards the table situated at the back of the room, taking a couple of scroll and books on top of it. I couldn’t help but be curious as he set them down in front of me and say, “These are, by far, the best resource I’ve got Caelum. Hard to come by, it is.”

Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

With his fur back, he’s as regal and confident as any royal, the grumpy persona replaced with Alpha arrogance. When we get inside, we all go into the library. Ailduin goes to the book shelf where the Book of Prophecies sits in the center, facing forward, glowing with its magical light. He pulls it from the shelf and looks at me. “I think it’s time we all accept this this book of prophecies is about you, Lily. First, The Rise of the Giants, then The Blessing of the Ceryneian Hind and now The Healer.” “Is the last one terrible? I’ve refused to read them, the first two made it sound like I was bringing destruction to your world.”

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

The Prince Of The Lycans My Mate Dark Secrets

The Prince Of The Lycans My Mate Dark Secrets

Aelin tossed and turned in her room, covered by a cozy blanket of soft furs. The young girl frowned, her tiny hands gripping the crescent symbol hidden under her pillow. Her breath caught as her mind was pulled into something far deeper than a dream. A realm of silver mist and starlit darkness opened before her. She stood without shoes on a large stretch of dark burned ground. Two moons shone above her—one was bright and silver while the other was red and had cracks spilling light like blood. The winds called her name in many different voices, some she recognized and others that sounded frightening.

CEO's Unexpected Bride

CEO's Unexpected Bride

Nina shook her head and made her way toward the exit. "I'm outside; call if you need something," Nina said before leaving her in the library. Elaina nodded and picked up the three books - Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades of Darker, and Fifty Shades of Freed. She whispered, "Just wow! I love to reread it." Elaina fell in love with those books at first sight. She picked up the book piles and walked straight to her room. When she was passing through the foyer, from nowhere, Aaron appeared and scooped her in his arms without prior notification.

MOONLIGHT SERENADE - The Dance Of The Goddess

MOONLIGHT SERENADE - The Dance Of The Goddess

____ And that night, while Jeyre slept, Aithne sat by the window of the house and stared into the dark night, lost in her thoughts as she reflected on the events of the day, memories of her mother and all that's ever happened to her. She could see the glimpse of a majestic and towering building far away, probably located in the middle of the city. It stood tall and proud and unwavering. And Aithne wished she would be able to stand strong and tall and unwavering, when she finally returned to Mooncrest one day. She absentmindedly began humming the song her mother had taught her many years ago, when they had returned from the renowned enchanting waterfall of Elgarion. The song was of foreign to

Thalia's Ashen Fate

Thalia's Ashen Fate

For a long while, that was the only sound. "Thalia." Cassius’s voice sliced through the calm. I turned. His stillness was a magnet, drawing my attention. He stood before a shelf, holding a heavy, dark-green volume as if it were a fragile relic. He carried it to the central desk and laid it gently in the pool of candlelight. The Lost Kingdom of Aelindoria. The title seemed to hum with promise, but Cassius’s gaze was fixed on the book's edge. His fingers traced the gilded trim of the cover, and then I saw it: the corner of a cream-colored envelope, hidden between the pages.

I feel like Richie was ripped off in this book, he didn't do anything wrong and he was treated as though he did. if he led Gwen before his mate on or if she was an old fling I'd understand. I also didn't like how we got snippets of the other siblings love lives as if there won't be a book on them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sarah J. Maas has a way of weaving her characters across series that feels like catching up with old friends. Aelin from 'Throne of Glass' is such a powerhouse, and her journey was epic. In her next book, 'House of Flame and Shadow', we're diving deeper into the Crescent City universe, which means Aelin might not be front and center. But knowing Maas, she loves her crossovers. Remember how Aelin literally fell through worlds in 'Kingdom of Ash'? That moment was wild, and it left the door open for her to pop up anywhere. The multiverse angle in Maas's books makes anything possible. I wouldn’t rule out a cameo or even a pivotal role for Aelin, especially since Bryce’s story is now tied to the same cosmic threads. The way Maas builds her worlds, it’s like they’re all whispering to each other across dimensions. Aelin’s fire could definitely light up the pages again, even if it’s just for a scene or two.

That said, if you’re hoping for a full-blown Aelin sequel, this might not be the book. 'House of Flame and Shadow' is Bryce’s show, and her story is blazing its own trail. But Maas fans know better than to assume anything. She’s the queen of surprises. The way she tied 'Throne of Glass' and 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' together in subtle ways proves she’s playing the long game. So while Aelin might not be the star, her presence—or at least the echoes of her legacy—could still shape the narrative. I’d keep an eye out for those tiny, explosive details Maas loves to drop. Aelin’s fans might just get the nod they’re waiting for.
