BROKEN LUNA
My eyes were irritated, but I ignored them as I sat up in the bed and looked around the room I was in, realizing it was the guest room.
My heart raced as I looked at the mess in front of me. There was foam and white stuffing on the ground beside the bed. The wood frame that was once holding the bed up was now broken, and the pieces of wood were impaled in the wall. The headboard was broken in half with large slashes in it. I looked towards the door, and the door handle was still holding in the lock.
But the other side of the door was broken, the hinges completely ripped from the wall. The closet door was destroyed, and the clothes were in shreds, holding onto their hangers.
