A dense layer of sweat instantly broke out on his forehead. Joseph was too quick! Joseph was faster than him, which meant he was more powerful than him. The thought of that filled Shane with great fear. He was already terrifying enough since he just joined the ranks of Gods of War. The god of sleep and the god of dreams glide through the crowd, their forms slipping between gods like smoke through stone. Hypnos waves a hand and a bed appears. Apollo helps Josefina onto it, and she’s settled by the time the two gods reach her. “Display her dream so that we may all see this prophecy,” Zeus instructs. Hypnos and Morpheus nod.

His eyes landed on the urn in Aspen's arms, and he froze. "I-Is that—" "Sophie is dead," Aspen said flatly. Her expression was devoid of emotion, as though she were speaking about a stranger's child, not her own. "What? How could that happen?" Joseph sputtered, before shaking his head in disbelief. "What a useless kid. She really just up and died like that?" Aspen's jaw clenched, her entire body trembling with barely contained rage. Joseph, however, didn't notice—or perhaps he did not care. He continued rambling, his tone filled with crude indifference.

Turning and tossing against each other. Both growling loud, Joseph drags his long claws across with force as he tries to hurt Asher on his jaw, but he moves before he can get him, jumping behind him, giving Joseph no time to act, as he turns and is met with the hard bite to his head. Before he can act, Joseph's head flies above the sky, landing by the waters. His body slowly falling to its knees and falling to the ground. Asher slowly walks, circling around the decapitated corpse of Joseph. He sneers, and can't help but let out a whimper and a tear escapes his eyes he reminisces about the happy moments he had with his dad.
