"This is a special pistol crafted for people within the department. We call them Extrobullet Guns. They're made from the toughest of alloys, and one clip holds seven special explosive bullets. One bullet is strong enough to blow a hole through an elephant. Wilbur huffed in awe. "This is an Alloy Dagger. It can take five levels of spirit pressure and is good for battling other cultivators." Jasmine took out a dagger and placed it in front of Wilbur. Wilbur had seen this dagger before. It was the same one Ryder used.

As they passed through the canyon and leaped over the river, they finally arrived in front of the yard. Swoosh! A dart flew through the air. It was as fast as a bullet. The tip of the dart shone brightly and headed straight between the old man’s eyebrows. However, the dart did not even get close to three meters before the old man suddenly unsheathed his sword with a loud ‘swoosh’. The old man blocked the dart with the longsword as the dart hit the longsword, making some sparks. The dart fell onto the ground while the old man stood up with his sword in hand.

She staggered and nearly fell! She stood firmly and weighed the dart with her hand. To her surprise, the dart was extremely heavy. It was twenty times heavier than a normal dart! What kind of dart was it? It was clearly a flying knife! No wonder five blades could not stop it. Even one hundred blades would not be able to stop it with that weight!

They were small, black, darts that were barely longer than my pinkie finger. They had faint silver writing on their bodies— runes. They looked harmless but as I reached out to touch one, the air around it was colder and heavier than normal making me retract my hand. “These are called Soulbind Projectiles,” Kael explained. “They’re designed to pierce the flesh, yes. But the real damage isn’t physical.”

I dropped to my knees and another trader leaned over me with his face twisted into a cruel smirk.

Now their attention is diverted. “Now,” I said. Tyla and I surged up, fired our weapon. The darts hissed through the air, embedding in their exposed flesh. The effect was instant. One man’s rifle dropped from his hands as he swatted. Another screamed, cradling his head as if spiders crawled under his skin. A third staggered forward, eyes glazed, swinging his fists at his own team. One by one. “God, I love this gun. Please tell me we can try the bomb after this.”

"I thought we spoke of no much violence" the man still pressured, but as Oliver heard, he stopped immediately and turned towards the man and replied, "Thoughts can be changed!" He brought out a blowgun from his bag and then few pieces of darts. He inserted the dart through the sight of the blowgun by the feather. He positioned the blowgun in such a way that the sight of the blowgun was pointed towards the man who stood at the right side of the gate, and he pushed out the dart through the mouthpiece of the gun.

But they have been known to use blunt arrows from time to time. However, when I turn to look, I see that it's a dart that hit me. It is totally different from the ones that are sometimes used to hunt small animals with blowguns. This dart is made of shiny metal, like artifacts left behind by ancestors. Where its tip penetrates my flesh, I feel searing pain. Then numbness. My arm goes limp. My muscles get weak and loose. I fall to the floor with a grunt. The beta version lets out a demented laugh.
