A DASH OF TEMPTATION

A DASH OF TEMPTATION

Spread across David’s coffee table, several papers were scattered, including his laptop, phone and gun. The faint smell of lemon lingered in the air, a scent that reminded him of the late Rick Sanchez house. Rick had been obsessed with Pine-Sol like it was a geriatric version of crack cocaine. Everything, including the hardwood floors, had been doused in the stuff. David had spent many of his afternoons after school using the hallway downstairs in the quiet home as a Slip N Slide.

BENEATH HER ASHES

BENEATH HER ASHES

Leaning back in my chair, I let the satisfaction wash over me for a heartbeat before slipping into the work that mattered most at the moment which is cleaning my trail. I opened my secure messaging app and typed a short note to one of my tech contacts. E: “Delete all surveillance footage from the mansion’s main entrance, yesterday between 2 PM and 4 PM. Nothing traceable. Confirm when done.” The reply came within seconds. T: “Consider it gone. Want me to pull security logs too?” E: “Yes. And make sure no one can recover them.” I then went through my own phone, erasing every text that hinted at my visit to Delilah’s home. A few innocuous messages to staff were rewritten to sound like I had be

No Return After Goodbye

No Return After Goodbye

Brandon's grip on my hand tightened. Before he could even gather his words, Dwayne spoke first. "Your company's already being shorted, and you still have time to crash our wedding?" Brandon's face flushed with humiliation. His lips trembled as he clenched his fists. "It was you!" Dwayne let out a cold laugh. "The fact that you're still alive is already my mercy." As he spoke, he slowly pulled out a photo. In it, Alanna's abdomen had been cut open, her body sent off to the black market, reduced to nothing more than a tool.

Sinless Addiction

Sinless Addiction

She mumbled, causing his eyes to gleam with mischievousness. Luca tossed his phone on the sofa as he grabbed the back of his shirt and yanked it over his head revealing his Adonis body that had her mouthwatering at the sight. How could someone be built so beautifully? She wanted to leave her mark on him. He unbuckled his pants and she watched with bated breath as the pants pooled around his feet.

I loved the story of Luca and Angela. Finally they both got their happy ending. I loved the ending with everyone together and Xander talking of how he and Emma meet. You’re such a great writer! Please continue to write more books.

The Luna’s Deadly Game

The Luna’s Deadly Game

His gaze fixated on the small bag of powder lying open. “Is that... what I think it is?” Darius asked, stepping forward and picking up the bag cautiously. His face shifted from confusion to concern. "Essian’s Dust... someone’s practicing dark magic?" I snapped before I could stop myself. “Yes, Sherlock, I already know. No need to state the obvious; it’s annoying.” Darius flinched slightly, setting the bag back down. “Right. Sorry.” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away from the dust. His mood was far more serious now.

Once In The Dust

Once In The Dust

Raya was suddenly silent, and I felt my body trying to shift back to my human form. I did not understand it until I noticed some particles in the air. Silver dust. Almost unnoticeable. "Silver dust. A terrible weakness to have, Selene," One of the Lycans said to me, and I moved back. I tried to link Christopher but could not reach him. I held my breath and stepped back while fighting my shift back to my human form. I could not hold it for long, so I let go and continued to breathe the poison. I looked in Christopher's direction, and it was clear he had noticed it too. These things came prepared. There was also no game in sight, so I realised that Omicron Carl, that set the picnic and told us

I immensely enjoyed every aspect of this book! The storytelling was epic and tugged all my emotional strings like a pro puppeteer. Absolutely amazing with nerve racking, edge of your seat suspense, drama and intrigue. A journey you will not be disappointed in taking in the slightest!

This was one of the best if not the best book that I have read out of the 50 plus or more books I have read on this site. Great job to the writer, had me engaged from beginning until then end. Also, it was hard for me to anticipate the chain of events which is credit to your writing style..

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"What?" Tiana smirked. "Don't you see? This video couldn't have come at a better time. It's the perfect distraction to bury all the bad press the company was getting before. Now, this is all the public will talk about." … Meanwhile, at Bane's mansion, Michael was undergoing treatment to detox his system. Bane said, "Mr. Rhodes, your body is fine. You just have some lingering effects from a strong aphrodisiac, which left you overheated and exhausted. You'll be back to normal in a couple of days."

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

RISING FROM THE ASHES

RISING FROM THE ASHES

His fingers brushed against the edges of the frames, his touch gentle as he traced the outlines of her face. He reached for a bottle of wine and uncorked it with a practiced ease. The sound of the cork popping echoed in the room, a stark contrast to the weight of the silence that hung in the air. He poured the wine into a glass and lifted it to his lips, the liquid offering a brief respite from the storm of emotions swirling within him. "Fuck Jota," Samuel muttered under his breath, the words escaping in a mix of frustration and resentment. The name held a weight of disappointment, a reflection of the trust that had been shattered in the wake of impulsive actions.

The Devil's Dust

The Devil's Dust

My nerves pick up a cold sensation running through my body over the heat when a new person-Dustin-wraps a wet blanket around me. I’m literally burning in hell, a hell a signed up for. You never know the shit you get yourself into until at the climax of it all. Through my silent screams, I realise how at this very point there’s no going back. I played with the dust, now my lungs are as fragile as a raw egg. “Ria! Ria, stay with me,” Devlin’s voice becomes more lucid. “You need to go back and stop him, brother,” says Dustin, panic trailing in his voice.

Rising From the Ashes

A cabin that until now, I considered to be irrelevant. I notice for the most part, nothing has been disturbed, however the dust on the floor says otherwise. While a person may be able to not touch anything, it's impossible for them to avoid the floor. I see a few telling signs of dust disbursed. It appears that the person attempted to cover their tracks, however I'm no amateur.
