When he thought I was his, but that I wasn't good enough. I don't know what came over me. Usually, I can keep my cool, but tonight, my sassy mouth takes over. I keep my eyes on his, a fake smile plastered on my face. "Did you expect me to say after being rejected by you?" I continue, unable to stop myself. "The day you rejected me, you gave up all rights to me. We have nothing to discuss."

"I've been looking for you." Ethan didn't answer quickly. He needed to chose his words carefully, to let Gabriel comprehend the extent of his anguish. "Gabriel," he continued, his voice firm, "what you did, the way you rejected me, it hurt more than I can ever express." Gabriel gulped hard, his shoulders dropping. "I know, and I'm very sorry, Ethan. I was an idiot. I let my ego and arrogance blind me." Ethan's eyes never wavered. "I need to know, Gabriel, why did you reject me? Why did you imply I wasn't good enough for you?"

For now, all I could do was cry and hope that tomorrow would be a better day, cried throughout the night. As I remember, all the love Alpha Blake and I shared in the past. He was so caring towards me and makes me feels what real love is, but I don't know why he later rejected me.The day of my rejection keeps ringing in my head till I fall asleep. Why the fuck did you accept it?"

I would not be able to handle another rejection. "W–what are you saying?" I gasped in tears. "You heard me properly and I believe your mind is mature enough to understand that you should prepare for my rejection tomorrow" Alpha Trent said coldly. I had never seen such coldness from him before. There was no single warmth in his eyes, there was nothing but darkness and void. "Why do you want to reject me?" I asked with tears rolling down my cheeks. "I owe you no explanation to my decisions, I need you to pre–"

We encourage you to apply for the future roles… I stared blankly at the screen of my phone, and my heart just sink. My heart tightened and I feel like the walls were so close around me that its feels so suffocating. It was like a repetition of the last few weeks with another rejection, another door slammed close in my face. I don’t even have any energy to get angry and sad anymore. Just…… exhausted.

Veronica and I do not say a word to each other until we are close to home. “I'm sorry.” She whispers. I turn to stare at her, confused. “What for?” I ask. “The rejection.” She says, her eyes looking right ahead. I am relieved that she doesn't gaze at me with sympathy, as I don't desire sympathy. “I don't know what that must have felt like.” “It wasn't pleasant, believe me.” I shake my head in an attempt to laugh off the dull pain that usually engulfs me at the memory. “However, I believe the rejection has taught me to embrace life to its fullest, regardless of the challenges we may face along the way.”

I felt numb, my heart frozen by his cruel rejection. “Accept my rejection, you bitch!” Luca yelled at me, bringing me back to earth. "I, Aurora, accept your rejection,” I said, my voice trembling. And with that, he let go of me and shoved me to the side, but this time I couldn’t hold it anymore. I looked at him one last time in anger.

I looked at them and more tears came out of me.I know alot would change after that.The respect they gave to both Liam and I,the love they gave,I knew it was all going to fade away,but I had already started it, going back was not an option. "It was all a mistake,I did not want it to be this way,I only made a mistake once,and I did not want to think about abortion,you deserved to live,you deserved all the good life had to give I am sorry."
