Agent Jane’s sentence got interrupted when the rest of her FBI team suddenly entered the room, along with a group of nurses. “Lord Jesus, what the hell happened here?” One of the FBI agent team members, named Peter Conn, looked around in shock at the damage in the room. “What the hell happened to your nose, son?” The FBI agent asked Agent Vernon when he caught sight of the young man’s nose, which was being treated by a nurse. Agent Peter Conn was the cowboy type. He was an old gentleman with a tall, medium build, a potbelly, wire-rimmed eyeglasses, and a thick gray mustache that oddly complemented the bald spot on his head. He would try to cover the bald spot with a few strands of his hair.

Chapter 13 The Detectives Scarlett’s POV I attempt to mind link my Beta to ask him if we have an ETA as to when the human cops are expected to arrive, but very quickly find that he’s blocking me from interrupting something that I don’t want to be a part of. I think it will be useful today because we will use some of the old names recorded here" "The names are useless, the words might be too, but its meaning to us is what matters.
