"They're waiting for the market to close in Hong Kong. It's a precise financial window. They'll be here any minute."
As if on cue, a long, black luxury sedan pulled silently up to the loading dock. Lyra stepped out, elegant and lethal, holding a slim leather briefcase. A moment later, Branwyn Hayes emerged from the warehouse entrance—tall, imposing, and surrounded by two heavy-set security guards.
"That's Branwyn," I muttered, my heart hammering. "And those two are Aegis muscle. He brought his own security."
Lyra walked straight toward Branwyn, opening the briefcase.
