We are on the top floor, but there was the one that Gio now lives in across from ours.
“Please be careful, Everly,” Gio says.
“I am being careful,” I reply.
I am standing on a low stool, hanging a few pictures that Gio had in a box. They were of his family. His younger sister is so damn adorable at eight years old. From what he told me, she was a surprise. I know that there is something going on. Gio had been acting weird for a few days now. Kaden has been as well. I know they are hiding something from me; I just don’t know what it is or why they are hiding it in the first place.
