Aki leapt from roof to roof. Her tabi boots touched the tiles lightly before pushing off. She was harnessing Karamijutsu (Body-lightening). Without warning, a tile she was stepping on broke and she slid straight down to the edge of the roof, only managing to grab the gutter in the nick of time. She was dangling there when Yuriko appeared on the incline, just a few feet away, crouching and fanning out a set of throwing knives. Apparently, she had launched a projectile that broke Aki’s foothold.

Diana nodded, *"it's not sweet, it's sour. Try it, you might like it.” Without hesitation Alpha Darren immediately opened one candy and ate it. His reaction was completely different from Canis or Diana who had tried the candy first. Alpha Darren did not react at all and just nodded. “I like the taste, it's very sour.” In Diana's mind, why was the man so acid-resistant? So Hikari didn't have any choice but to take the challenge of finding it out. After a long walk, they then meet with Suzuki. Akaru goes to Suzuki and says to him "It was all up to you now. I have bought them here." Suzuki was so weird when he heard that. But he never heard from anyone that Akaru will come with them and they never met before. Suzuki tries to ask Akaru about that, but Akaru just ignores him. Akaru says to Hikari, Neu, and Nimura that he will take a leave and he wants them to just be happy because he will always watch their back. They all accepted it and Akaru just goes away. When Akaru wasn't there, Suzuki asks them "Who is him?" They just tell Suzuki that it was an old friend

Sure that she wasn’t crying anymore, she turned to gaze at me like she was admiring something. “The Alpha, the only one who acquired the flame sword Aura without a teacher to teach him or an elemental wolf link connection.” I went silent, stunned by what had crawled into my ears. Ryu didn’t learn flame sword aura from a master, nor was he an elemental wolf. That had to be one of the craziest things I’ve heard. “The Alpha is the strongest amongst us and is also the only one who could ever chase off the Moon Hound Pack who kept to our tail.
