Mother's face was filled with content as she continued to eat. Mom just stared at me for some time before continuing with her breakfast. Daniel leaned into me and asked, " Why aren't you hungry?" I looked at him and just shrugged. The acids in my stomach started to claw onto the wall, causing my hunger to increase. But I sat patiently and waited for everyone to finish their breakfasts.

Went straight to his office. At six, we had dinner. Mrs. Chen had prepared something elaborate. Steak. Vegetables. Wine. Kael ate. I pushed food around my plate. "You're not eating," he observed. “Not like you have a choice.” Kellan glared at him. “There’s no restaurant around this area,” Kyle continued, unfazed. “And your phone is dead.” Kyle smiled slightly. “Unless you want to starve till evening.” Kellan clicked his tongue in annoyance and pulled out a chair. He sat down slowly, his movements stiff. He stared at the food for a few seconds before picking up the spoon. He took one bite. Delicious. Kellan paused, surprised, but quickly masked his reaction. He continued eating without saying a word.

And at lunch? He barely ate. I found him sitting at his usual table, scrolling through videos on his phone—probably analyzing plays from past matches. His food tray was untouched. I slid into the seat across from him. “You know food actually needs to go inside your mouth, right?” Luca looked up, surprised to see me there. His eyes flickered with something—something unreadable—but he just shrugged. “Not hungry.” I frowned. “You have a match in a few days. You need fuel.”
