The Alpha's Luna

The Alpha's Luna

The person does not survive despite all of Jordan's efforts. By the time Jordan pulls the person out of the water, the sun has hidden behind the horizon, completely covering the beach in a sinister darkness. His grey sweatpants are drenched completely, and the person in his arms is dead, his limp arms swaying with each of Jordan's clumsy steps over the wet sand. I know it the moment I see the body, pale and unmoving, but the Alpha still clings onto the little hope he has. He can probably still hear his heartbeat.

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Sold to the Disfigured Billionaire

Antarctica. Below Outpost Zero. The Sub-Glacial Lake. Depth: 4,200 Meters. "Jack, take your hand off the firing console!" Sebastian’s voice cracked like a whip in the cramped cabin of the submarine, cutting through the blaring red alarms. He lunged forward, gripping Jack’s wrist with surprising strength. "Are you insane?!" Jack yelled, his eyes wide with terror as he stared out the viewport. The massive, glowing purple eye took up their entire field of vision. "That thing is bigger than our entire base! If we don't shoot, it's going to swallow us whole!"

Waking up to my sin

Waking up to my sin

The submarine groaned as it dove deeper into the Mediterranean abyss, the external pressure of the ocean a monolithic force against the hull. Inside the cramped, dimly lit cabin, the air was recycled and warm, tasting of ozone and the sinful tension that had been building since we fled the Roman sewers. Malakai stood at the small navigation console, his movements clinical and efficient as he set our course for international waters. He had stripped off his wet tactical shirt, his bare back a map of scars and dark ink that flexed with every movement.

The Billionaire’s Blood Proxy

The Billionaire’s Blood Proxy

Alexander asked. Jax looked out at the horizon, where the first faint light of dawn was beginning to break the darkness. "The rig has a long-range submersible. We head south. There are places in the deep where even the satellites can't reach. Places where we can rebuild." Alexander looked at Elena. She looked up at him, a faint smile touching her lips a smile that held the weight of a thousand battles and the hope of a thousand tomorrows. "The billionaire and the goddess," she murmured. "Quite the hustle, Alex."

Single Daddy's Beloved Wife

Single Daddy's Beloved Wife

The water was warm, and immediately Alana was lowered into the tub with bubbling water. She bit her lower lip as her eyes closed. Her wound stung a little, it was the worst ever. However, what was worse was having Ricardo in the room? Ricardo stared at Alana's back, her skin was flawless. He noticed she had a birthmark near her left ear. This was wrong, he wasn't supposed to look; hence he closed his eyes right away.

The Last Station Standing

The Last Station Standing

Instead, it turned on its powerful external floodlights, pinning the tiny escape sub in two beams of blinding light. "They aren't going to blow us up," Kazimir said grimly. "They’re going to ram us. They want to crush us against the sea floor." "Not today," Elara said, gripping the controls. "Jun, find me a Thermocline (a layer in the ocean where the temperature changes rapidly, which can distort sonar signals). We’re going to disappear." The tiny sub dived deeper, heading away from the ruins of Thorne’s secret empire and into the vast, unknown trenches of the South Pacific.

wounded Heart

"The submersible might have one. Franco seems to have thought of everything else." She began examining the compact control panel, feeling Alex's presence behind her as he leaned in to observe. His proximity sent an involuntary shiver through her that had nothing to do with the chill of the underwater vessel. "There," Alex said, his breath warm against her neck as he pointed to a small compartment beneath the navigation controls. Sonia opened it to reveal a ruggedized laptop, military-grade by its appearance. "Of course," she murmured. "My father wouldn't leave anything to chance."

THE HEIRESS

THE HEIRESS

The only remaining route was the Mirror Facility, an underwater data farm thirty miles off Long Island, nominally owned by a maritime research consortium. Evelyn, Adrian, and Luca went dark, leaving Elias to distract the auditors with forged intelligence leaks. By evening they reached the coast. Waves punched the breakwater like artillery as they boarded a compact submersible disguised as a research drone. The instruments glowed faint green, painting their faces ghostly. Adrian checked his monitor. “Facility depth: ninety meters. Entry port disguised as ventilation shaft.” “Security?” Evelyn asked. “Automated drones. Infrared only.”

GIVE ME EVERYTHING

GIVE ME EVERYTHING

“Let’s follow him. We’ll go downstairs now, so you can view the reef from the protected observatory.” Alannah didn’t need any more prompting than that. She followed the crew member down a set of stairs, and then stopped, causing Darius to bump into her. It was amazing. There were seats lined up, and she had a clear view of the underwater reefs. Sea animals were swimming past, the colors of the reef, the animals, the plants… all of it was remarkable. She sat down with Darius quickly joining her and just took it all in. They chatted as the boat slowly toured the area and Alannah was sure this was the best day she’d ever experienced. When the man came down and told them they were stopping, she

Another amazing book by Emma Swan. I really enjoyed it. This book is well written, but could use another pass at editing. It's edited very well compared to other books in the app, but compared to her other books, which are usually perfect, it needs a bit of editing. Other than that, it's perfection.

The Alpha's Undercover Luna

The Alpha's Undercover Luna

I'm still in my thoughts, finding it difficult to fall asleep when the wristwatch suddenly comes on and the light reflects in the room. I quickly pick it up and I go under the thick duvet to prevent the light from reflecting. I look at the screen and there's a message that reads: Search for Isaac Newman, he's an engineer who fixes cars for the Alpha. He'll give you something we have prepared for you tomorrow. Then the screen goes blank again and I'm left wondering how many more spies Alpha Luggard has fixed in this pack that the alpha doesn't know about. I guess I'm his closest shot to knowing everything about the alpha since I seem to be the only one that has gotten the closest to him.
