Lestat lets out a long, heavy sigh, running his fingers through his dark hair with a look of pure irritation I can't even begin to understand. "Throwing your mouth at a strange Alpha in the middle of the street isn't the smartest survival move," he grunts, placing a heavy palm against my spine as he guides me down the main stone drag of the territory. She opened the envelope and handed half the stack of pictures to Alec and the other half to Joe.

He looked down into the box of photographs, reaching out to trace one with his finger. Like a phantom, he went right through it. Alastor danced in place, waiting to see what he would do. When Ronin looked up, his eyes were pitch black. With his good hand, he shifted his bones back to place and stalked slowly around Alastor, circling his prey. Alastor paled, realizing that his Supreme Alpha was just toying with him all along. He charged at Ronin with a surge of energy intending to tackle him to the ground. He ran right into a death grip. Ronin lifted him from the ground with one hand, the other primed with sharp claws. In one swift motion, he dug his claws into Alastor’s chest.

“Her name’s Lisa Adrian. She was caught in the woods—thought she was a witch at first. She’s not.” Alex raised an eyebrow, waiting. He knew me well enough to sense there was more. “She’s a vampire,” I said, keeping my voice low, though the room was soundproofed against prying ears. “Alireza Firouzja’s daughter.” His reaction was immediate—eyes widening, a sharp curse slipping past his lips. “What the hell. You're sure this isn't a trap. A vampire? Here? And Firouzja’s blood, no less.”

I said in irritation. "Show her, Clim." Headmaster said for the guy named Clim to nod. A diamond key appeared right in his hand, a familiar zodiac sign was there. "Gate of the Scorpion, I call thee, Scorpio." As he said those words the whole place was engulfed with bright light. As I opened my eyes I saw a guy with peculiar features. He had a tail of a scorpion, it looks scary and poisonous. It had an blank look on it's face while all his clothes are patterned colored black. His expression has the same vibes of it's owner, the intimidating one. Is this real? Am I seeing a half human, half scorpion?

As if on cue, her laughter filled the air, burning through me… light and carefree. Albena. She turned to me, her green eyes shining with joy as she reached out her hand… but her laughter vanished. The world trembled beneath me. Then lips opened in a silent bloodcurdling scream that shattered the peace. She settled her eyes on the heavens. I followed her gaze only to see horror. A balcony stood in the distance. Two figures watched from above—a woman dressed in white, a man beside her. Their faces were familiar, yet blurred by the quickly darkening clouds. A figure emerged from the darkness, silent as death.

Was it his kindness, or was it the Alpha's glare shooting daggers in my direction behind the man? "You're welcome." He smiled. "Harrison Cage. That's my name. What's yours?" "Scarlett." I added. "Scarlett De Luca." "Cage." Alpha Jax's voice seemed ominous for a second as Harrison's eyes went back and forth between us. "Pardon me." He replied. "I'll see you some other time, Scarlett." He said as he went back to the Alpha's side. As they exited, Alpha Jax turned back with eyes full of fire, enough for me to burn to the ground.
