“Kill people.” I cross my arms over my chest and push off the tree; if Brandon wants to treat me like the enemy, then I’ll play that part. I’ll even let him walk away without saying thank you when I return his Alpha and the missing pups. I’m Elle from the Academy, I don’t bow down to men like Brandon. "Well, she's my secretary, Alexandria Akins, Alexa meets the big boss, CEO of Cross Cooperationn, Mr. Xander Cross," Peter introduced. 'Stop making me feel awkward!!, oh my goodness, you've finally done it Alexa you're gonna lose your job,' she said inwardly. "Uh...I've gotta go," Alexa said while scrambling away from them. 'You can run but you can't hide, I'm finally gonna get my revenge,' Xander said as his pink lips curved upwards.

Thus the start of the world's Dark Age for people born on that particular day. Miyazaki Aiko, the lovely wife of the founder and CEO of one of the largest telecommunications in Kiyokawa, was actually no exception to all that was happening around her.

The chamber was dimly lit, a harsh glow of bluish flame flickering against the cold stone walls. The air was thick with damp and the metallic tang of silver. Chains clinked and groaned as Alexandro was dragged inside by two cloaked figures. His body ached, not from the long journey or the ambush that caught him off guard, but from the silver that now bound him. It wrapped around his wrists, his ankles, even across his chest—an intricate pattern designed to weaken, suppress, and humiliate. It was not just a physical restraint; it was a declaration that his power meant nothing here.

The water in the swimming hole is cold, but nobody that’s swimming seems to mind as they splash about, clinging to the last shreds of that carefree summertime feeling. When I say most everybody from the complex is out here this afternoon, I mean it- all five of the alphas who run the squad are here, a bunch of the full-fledged squad members, and I’d venture to say all of the reserve squad recruits. Even some of the IT geeks came out- that bitchy girl Carly is here, strutting around in an ill-fitting black string bikini that makes her milky skin look even paler. If I didn’t know the girl was a shifter, I’d totally peg her as a vamp.

Lyles had been good to her and now she saw him as a threat. He may have decided not to watch her fight, so he can provide his father with the poison and destroy the evidence. That was a very big accusation, but right noe her head couldn't think up of any other reason. Anybody would want to be called Alphason, so it would be no surprise if Lyles wants that title. He might be here trying to act like he cares but Crinka knows he can't wait to parade round the pack like alphason.
