Blood and Betrayal

Blood and Betrayal

“The Board is ‘harvesting’ them. One by one, they are being brought back to the facilities. Not to be architects, but to be batteries. Their resonance is being drained to power the new world order Silas spoke of.” Suddenly, the water map began to hiss and boil. A dark, oily shadow spread from the centre of Europe, devouring the violet sparks. “They’re here,” Julian shouted, his tablet erupting in red alerts. “Security breach at the helipad. Multiple high-altitude drones. And Lisa… they’re not Board drones. They’re Swiss military.” “The Board doesn’t need its own army when it owns the state,” Elara said, her violet eyes flashing with a cold, ancient anger.

THE LYCAN KING’S SCARRED PRIZE

THE LYCAN KING’S SCARRED PRIZE

Dominic stared down at his blackened hands, his chest heaving as the black veins along his arms trembled, his mind reeling from the horror of what he had almost accomplished. "Look out!" Malakai screamed, his voice breaking into a panicked shriek. Through the shattered front windshield, the three Vanguard combat drones descended from the clouds like birds of prey. Their targeting lasers stopped dancing; they locked dead-center onto the pilot's cabin, three blinding crimson dots burning into the glass. They fired. Three synchronized, high-velocity plasma rockets tore through the midnight sky, heading directly for our noses. Dominic didn't hesitate. He didn't have time to think, to process the

A Contract With My Demon

A Contract With My Demon

"If you don't authorize the new Covenant, there won't be a world left to save. They’ll delete the hardware and start over with a fresh species." Elara looked at the pen, then at the vial of liquid shadow. Beside her, Mia was clutching the notebook….the "Delete" sequence that the drones were hovering for. Her mother, Sarah, stood with the silver shotgun leveled at the drones, though even she knew buckshot couldn't kill a math equation. "If I sign this," Elara rasped, the violet fire in her veins cooling into a heavy, leaden weight. "I’m not just your partner. I’m the Bank itself. I’m the one who decides who lives and who is... liquidated."

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

“Time’s up.” Alarms blared as we sprinted back into the corridor as red lights flared. The AI system had pinpointed our location. Drones would be inbound within moments. We raced through the route we’d taken in, but they were already closing uin. One drone appeared ahead, hovering, scanner flaring blue. Alex didn’t hesitate. He dropped to one knee, aimed, and fired. The drone exploded in a burst of sparks. We didn’t stop.

A private deal with the billionaire ceo

A private deal with the billionaire ceo

I couldn’t lose those. When sleep finally stole me, it was fitful. The hideout slept in shifts and shadows, metal glinting like teeth in the dark. Overhead the world was oblivious, cars and people and a sky that didn’t know we were making war. In the morning, Abel taped printouts to the wall and underlined names. Damon trained until his fists were bruised, pulling the weight of failure into muscle. Halstrom drew plans with a precise, surgical fury. I strapped my pistol into its holster one more time and looked at it like a promise. This was no longer a hunt for a faceless mastermind. This was for Alice. This was for the burnt-out estates and staged ruins. We weren't going to be fooled again.

Alpha's Slave

Alpha's Slave

She was so delicate that when all he did was to push her behind him in the dark alley, turned into something as hideous as her getting flung far away, how could he even touch her again. He punched the mattress for thinking so much about a mortal, a human he despised so much. He would wait for Zoe. She would come back and understand his needs. But there was no way he was sleeping with this erection. The ache was making him crazy. He got up and made himself another glass of whiskey. The entire day he had tried to find clues about Necklace of Dorza. His general had told him that there was a den of demons in the outskirts of the town outside Renada.

Author here! Couldn't help reviewing my own story☺ It’s my 2nd story on this platform—fast paced, far from cliché stuff. I tend build high fantasy worlds and bring forth relevant elements into my stories for character development. If you are in for a steamy thriller romance, buckle up your seats!

Excellent book! Many grammatical errors which made it a 4.5 star rating. Plot and character development had a lot of depth and twists and turns throughout the book. I definitely look forward to the next book in the series as many characters introduced which leaves many for the author to write about.

He couldn't even take control of his personal life. "Kaiser," I heard dad's voice. He looked in a state of panic. "Hmm?" I asked. "This war? All of this? Please tell me what's happening. I can't understand anything," he asked. I gave him a sarcastic smile. "Dad, do you know about Mystic Shadows?" I chuckled. "Y...yes," he spoke, trembling in fear. "She is their alpha. The last wolf remaining," I responded in a firm tone.

THE ALPHA'S SLAVE

THE ALPHA'S SLAVE

He continued, his voice low and measured, "Amelia's… situation is more complicated than we thought. Far more complicated." He revealed a truth so shocking, so unexpected, that it left me breathless. Amelia hadn't been the victim of a random act of violence. She hadn't stumbled onto something she shouldn't have. Amelia had been a pawn in a much larger game, a game involving powerful players, dangerous secrets, and a conspiracy that reached far beyond the confines of our seemingly safe world. The insurgents, it turned out, were just one small piece of a much larger, more sinister puzzle. And I, unwittingly, was now a central player.

Alpha of Death

Alpha of Death

When we arrived at the house mother asked us to take her to their room at let her rest. Jason and I each poured a glass of dad’s bourbon and toasted him before plopping down. We sat in silence sipping on our drinks. What a fucked up day. Jason finally looked up from his glass. “Mia, what will we do? What will you do?” Truth was I didn’t know, but I’d have to think of something quick. No way I was going to be Alpha Austin’s Luna and watch my brother suffer. He had trained for years to be the next Beta. And all because I wouldn’t date the son of a bitch my father was now dead, my family and consequently Jason’s title of Beta was revoked, and I would be forced into a torturous arrangement.
