All About Eve Novels & Stories

As I opened my eyes I saw shock and joy on everyone's face as I turned and saw the cause with the mirror on the door , my eyes were pitch black with flicks of gold and silver dancing around. "EVERYONE KNEEL BEFORE YOUR ALPHA" the elder said as I turned and saw everyone bowing before me, my parents, sister, brother, beta's, people , my pack . "Close your eyes Alpha Lucas, as you open them may your mate eyes capture your heart" the elder spoke softly.

Pots and dishes shattered into pieces, and chairs and tables were overturned, leaving the place in complete disarray. Mayor Kingsley’s eyes were wide with anger, his voice full of menace. “Frank, you’d better give me an explanation. My son’s death won’t go unanswered!” Dad collapsed to his knees, trembling as he repeatedly bowed, his forehead quickly turning red and swollen. “Mayor Kingsley, it was that wretched Eve who caused all this. She’s already dead. I even fed her body to the pigs. Please, have mercy on me.” Mayor Kingsley sneered. “And you think that’s enough?”

I would cook for Alfredo and Irina whenever we see resources. The fact that Irina is dead still feels weird, but she pushed it. She had to deliver Eve to her money-hungry mother. She is lucky to be killed by De'vora. I might spare her life. But she will wish for death instead. I stirred the meal as the aroma filled my nose. It smells good. And it is almost ready. I moved towards the island and picked up the chopped vegetables when Eve walked in dressed in her red nightwear that stopped almost above her thigh.

“He usually has better taste and twenty one! Please! You’re a child” I coughed gently “I’m Eve, I grew up next door to Rob and his family in Rye. He was kind enough to gift me a day here for my birthday. ” I schooled myself, I would not embarrass myself here. If anyone was going to be embarrassed it would be her. I tried to keep my demeanor calm and collected. She took a breath then looked at me suspiciously. “Is that so?” She tapped a manicured nail against her chin as she considered, then pulled out her cell phone tapping a few buttons furiously.

Eve snapped and even Alice seemed shocked. I thought it was going to end there but that was just the starting point as I watched Eve size her up leaving everyone with their mouth hanging. I'm sure the press have never witnessed something this bam before.

Rolling his eyes as though I was not making any sense. "No. I don't think so! I'm here to have a taste of what is rightfully mine. And hey. No matter how hard you try to seduce Alpha Kane, thinking you can gain a spot in this pack, you'll remain the filthy wolfless girl to him. Kane will only use you to satisfy his sexual urge and dump you. I'm the only one who cares about you in this pack, Evelyn." 'So Steven wants to rape me? He isn't who I even think he is. He just disguised himself as a friend to get into my pants?'

Just as Eve turned around, she found a pair of hazel eyes staring at her with panic and regret. Wow, regret? Would all men show regret right after they had an affair? "Let go of my hand," she muttered under her breath. The elevator doors chimed and then opened to reveal an empty space with no one in sight. It was Tuesday at 2 am. A sane person would choose to curl up under the covers because tomorrow, they would be back to their busy routines at their offices. However, on this cold night, Eve chooses to put aside her tiredness after her long shift at the hospital because she wants to surprise Andres on his birthday—and unfortunately, she is the one who gets a surprise from him.

EVE I sat listening to Kha and Drake snoring. It was a rare moment of peace. They lay on either side of me, fast asleep due to my command. Finally, I had a moment to myself when their thoughts and emotions weren't crushing me. I reached over to the nightstand, picked up my phone, and typed a message to Lori. "I'm freaking out, Lori. I want to leave. It's suffocating me here." Her response came quickly. "I understand, Eve. I know exactly how you feel. Meet me outside in twenty minutes. I'll take you somewhere you can breathe."

I sighed as I knew someone must have pranked that poor soul. "Please, for the love of Lord Adrian Cerberus, open the door. I will freeze to death out here." I heard Eve's voice. She was begging to get in. As I reached the door, I noticed that she was in her nightie. She was shivering with the cold. It was way too chilly night for Eve to be outside. Seeing her out, something snapped inside me.

She looked like a pig to me. "I don't think you all are okay. I don't even know anything about you guys at all." Eve said with a trembling voice, clearly trying to defend herself. "You don't know us but we know you more than anything. We know women like you that tag around billionaire's like my future husband, Justin Carter just to get money and popularity." She batted her eyelashes and I was led into a state of confusion amidst anger.
