Rowan Remington finally accepted my marriage proposal.  He told me to dress up, saying he had prepared a surprise for me.  But when I arrived in my finest attire, Rowan did not present himself as the groom.  Turning to my half-sister, Lisa, with a playful smile, he said, “You always complain that weddings are tedious and dull. Today, I’ll show you an interesting one. What do you think?”  Just then, my elder half-brother, Miles, loudly declared, “The wedding is on hold!”  Suddenly, my childhood friend, Nathan Keller hurled a water balloon—prepared in advance—at me and it smashed down on my head, completely drenching me.  Rowan arched a teasing brow at me. “It was just a joke, Tessa. You didn’t actually think I was going to marry you, did you?”  The so-called wedding was nothing more than a farcical performance to entertain Lisa, who was suffering from depression.  As I stood in stunned silence, Rowan chuckled and added, “If you’re that desperate to get married, why not pick someone from the guests and tie the knot right now?”  So, I did.  I walked down the aisle with a new groom in hand.  That’s when they panicked.

At the company’s annual meeting, explicit private photos suddenly popped up on the screen. The boss rushed to unplug the power cord, but the secretary stopped him. She had always resented my promotion and kept suspecting I had climbed the ladder through physical favors. As everyone looked on, she moved in to click play. I desperately tried to stop her. “Winika, you’ll regret clicking that! “Let’s talk about this outside now. Don’t delay everyone’s awards!” Winika Clark sneered coldly. “You dared commit such acts, but you’re blanching at the idea of showing it to the world? “Our colleagues are all gathered here today. I can’t think of a better time for all of us to enjoy watching how you climbed the ladder! “Since it’s an awards ceremony, let’s evaluate whether you deserve the ‘Easiest of the Year’ award!” I froze. But the photos… were hers?

"Exactly what married couples do, love." He said dropping the shirt on the floor, His voice so full of viciousness that she almost choked on them. She dragged herself back on the bed sobbing, "no.." He grabbed her legs and pulled her towards himself. He crawled on top of her. He looked into her terrified eyes and whispered, "You make me do terrible things, my dear Rose." He wiped a stray tear from her chin before grabbing it. "I will bruise your lip and scar your knees and love you too hard.." he brushed his lips on hers, "I will destroy you. And when I leave, You will finally understand why storms are named after humans." ........................... Rosette never had an easy life, and after the death of her mother, when she thought things couldn't get worse, her life started going fully downhill. She was tortured beyond repair in her own house. She could only dream of being loved. She dreamed of getting married and finally breaking free from all these cages, but fate had other plans for her. While we're having our dinner on Christmas Eve, my mom suddenly asks me loudly, "Do you have your chastity?" I look confused. "What?" My mom just smiles very smugly. Since she likes spreading baseless rumors about me this much, I'm not going to keep her secret for her anymore.
