Hannah sighed for the hundredth time. As far as she was concerned that was the only fun thing to do at the moment since all she had been doing was sitting in the lobby of an hotel for the past three hours with the hope of getting a job. She shook her legs and rubbed her palm on her thighs when the person before her finally stood up and trudged in nervously. She totally understood that, she was in her shoes presently and could feel her heart beat accelerate in an underestimated momentum. She had severally had encounters with employees where they either do not see her match the competence of their job analysis or that they couldn't employ her because she doesn't have enough work qualifications or that they were not giving out jobs to students. There was a time she wanted to get a job at a pizza shop but was declined because they thought she'd eat more than the samples due to her body size, to them, she looked like a foodie. There was as well a time she was rejected because she looked too beautiful to serve a coffee. So many crazy reasons that were enough for her to stop her search. Thinking about why she lost this job now made it the top reason on her list. She had never had an encounter with a person who just wants to get between her legs. Hannah walked gloomily in a sluggish step that made her situation a little obvious. She walked past a coffee shop that was just a few miles away from the hotel. It had a job opening for a server but she hissed, walking past it. "

Hannah was keen on the opinion about the first impression lasting longer. She doesn't want to appear like she was doing too much but she still wanted to impress them to the best of her abilities. As she ran out of the house, almost forgetting to lock her door, she checked her time and saw that she was able to dress up within seventeen minutes which was quite impressive. She wasn't the type to take a taxi since she was particular about cutting down expenses. Taking the bus was the easiest thing for her and in that manner, it seems faster but sitting in the taxi now, she got to enjoy the difference since she finally got to the shop within a few minutes. Hannah got down in front of the shop, staring at the building with a bright smile on her face. She couldn't quite place the structure of the building well in her memory but she could still recollect that she had been there during her several quests for job hunting. Hannah had in fact almost become a worker at Cora's workplace, which was the coffee shop she had passed by a few weeks ago when she went for the interview at the hotel. She wasn't so pained to have lost the job when in fact she had seen the poster even before Cora. At least, they were friends now, was her only words of encouragement. "Not even a box of pizza?" Cora asked again before laughing out loud and now, Hannah herself had a smile at the corner of her lips. "It wasn't even funny. I took a cab instead of the bus with the hope of being employed and you know how expensive the taxi is for a lady cutting down her expenses,""That's really brutal, to be frank. Totally unacceptable!" Cora muttered. "Good morning. I would like a cup of cappuccino," a young lady came in with a bright smile and Cora smiled back at her before excusing herself to attend to her. He deepened his right hand in his front pocket and brought out five-hundred dollar notes, throwing them at her. "You could use that for whatever damages you deem fit!" he said curtly before adjusting his tie and suit and walking out on her. Hannah who was still on the ground scoffed. She finally stood from the ground before dusting her dress and walking away, leaving the money on the ground. With a discontented heart, she walked back after she was a few feet away from the spot. She removed the pin that was in her hair, bending low and piercing his car tyre with the pin. It was a little hard to do but due to the length of the hairpin, it was possible and she left her hairpin there after many trials to pull it out.
