“Two packs existed to be the most powerful pack of our kind, the alvuelas and the crescent pack.” “Our pack was the crescent. The Alvuelas were concerned about power, they wanted to rule the entire werewolves pack with the tip of their fingers. It wasn’t in favour of the other packs as they have predicted how toxic the leadership will be, they prefer to be ruled by their own alpha since there is an alpha in every pack. The Alvuelas used violence and threatened the other subordinate packs with the death of their whole pack. They didn’t have much choice than to follow his influence and voted the Alvuelas in power. But there were two heroes from the crescent pack that stood against the whole pr

She opened the page of the ‘mate curse’ ‘this curse is placed by a sorcerer to separate two mates, It comes in pairs: the death mark and the life mark. The one bearing the death words is meant to die and can only be saved by the mate bearing the life word. Only if the life curse isn't concealed by the restriction substance which is meant to keep the mates apart’ she read the page in her mind, her eyes went to the drawings of the curses. The life curse was exactly like hers only that it was white, and the death curse was pure black, the words in the circle slightly different that if one didn't look closely they would think that it is the same words.

"Sin, almost forcibly marked her this morning. We were talking, but then Sin lost his temper and took over." I shook my head negatively in disbelief. I could feel Night scratching at the wall of our minds to try to take over and he himself beat Dylan, how dare he try to forcibly mark her? "You got lucky." I commented with a cold tone. "Pay attention. Hope will rather take her own life than live with a forced mark. Do you know what the consequences are when someone marked would rather kill themselves than stay with the one who marked them?" I asked rhetorically, because the horror on Dylan's face was enough for me to know that he knew the answer, but I still spoke. "A curse is cast on the one

However, those were only her thoughts. "Cursed wolves should hide from others, especially from royal wolves. From ranks such as Alpha, beta, theta, delta, and gamma. Cursed wolves are cursed at birth, which means that even if they wish to, they can't erase the curse. However, if they want to, they can seek the assistance of witches in order to betray the eyes of others by bewitching their marks. But it will not be long before everyone knows about it. So when their wolves return, they will come out as wild and dangerous." Jennifer did not continue reading over the halfway point. She was unable to pull her gaze away from the book and asked,

I got rejected. I am the weakest omega of the Cresentvale pack. I'm not only poor, I'm also an orphan. And worst of all. I am cursed. In my lineage, women are known to be born with a mark of the full moon, this mark was known as a curse, I don't know about it but from what I've heard, no woman in my lineage who has that mark has ever lived past the age of fifty. My mother died immediately after I was born and it was assumed that the curse had been broken since she has the mark, and still died so early but then they were surprised to find the mark on my neck, only that this time it was the shape of a half moon.

For the first time since the curse appeared, there wasn’t a single mark left on me. I looked back at Traci. Zayden’s hand lifted. He pointed toward her stomach. My eyes followed his finger. The dark markings were still there. They curled faintly across the upper part of Traci’s stomach, surrounding the area above her belly button. They looked almost like veins beneath her skin, except they formed patterns that were far too deliberate to be natural. My stomach turned. “But they’re there,” Zayden said quietly. I stared at them. Those were my curse marks. Or something frighteningly close to them. They weren’t silver anymore. They were dark. Almost black. And they were on Traci. “No.” The word l

“the curse continues adapting.” “What does that mean?” I inquired, glancing at Rodney. “It means,” Elder Mara replied , “the curse is no longer satisfied with simple physical warmth.” My brows rose. “I don’t understand.” After a moment’s hesitation, Healer Joshua finally pointed to symbols drawn across the old parchment. “The curse formed during a rejected mate transition. The Moon Omega bond failed which created some spiritual damage during the attempted mating process.” He glanced at Rodney. “The curse attached itself to the Alpha’s bonding instincts.”

I lean closer to the mirror. She is lying with her arms at her sides and her right wrist is visible against the white of the hotel sheets and there is a mark there, faint but specific, the kind of mark that the body makes when something has touched it that should not have touched it, when something has left evidence of its presence on human skin. The mark is the shape of a handprint. Not a bruise from the coatroom, not the ordinary evidence of a physical encounter. Something older and more specific, the particular marking that a curse leaves when it has made contact with a new host, when it has extended far enough to touch someone outside the bloodline.

Notes to herself rather than formal record. The curse-maker's mark. She read it twice. Three times. She sat back on the bench and stared at the candle flame and processed what she had just read. Every curse carried the signature of its creator. Not metaphorically—literally. The energy of the caster, encoded into the structure of the curse at its origin point, still present in every iteration of it, every spread, every body it moved through. Most curses lost coherence over time. Most makers were generations dead and their signature was too faint to matter.

“The moment the Mark appeared… when we touched?” “No,” he corrected with a heavy voice. “The Mark was just the ignition. The seal broke the moment your wolf came out. Your pure, uncursed essence collided with my restrained power. It wasn't just a mating bond that formed, Ava. It was a chain reaction. The first seal, the one that kept my blood from boiling, the one that kept my eyes silver, the one that kept the full force of my possessive instinct suppressed… it shattered.” He inhaled sharply, his gaze now fixed on the faint, dark silver Mark on my shoulder. “When those shackles broke, I felt the curse change. It went from a slow, agonizing poison to a roaring, active furnace. It changed its
