Chapter two— A werewolf in my home?

Imogen felt the presence of something strange behind her, she turned back slowly as she made eye contact with a werewolf shooting Imogen a deadly glare. As soon as they exchanged glances, she fainted at the spot immediately.

A few hours later, Imogen opened her eyes to her nicely decorated ceiling that was painted white which smartly matched the color of the room.

The reflection of the sun suddenly diverted her attention, it reflected on her face making her glow beautifully. She covered her eyes, preventing them from the pain the sun will cause them.

She got out of bed and worked down to her window just as she could feel every bit of the beauty of nature outside her bedroom.

The fresh wind caressing her skin, leaves romantic sensations. The reflection of the sun and the greenish nature of the trees with the colourful flowers.

It felt more real and beautiful than any other day she has experienced. The chirping of the birds says everything.

Imogen suddenly recalled seeing a werewolf. She thought it was just a dream. She carelessly waved it off and headed to the kitchen to get herself some water to drink.

She opened the freezer and reached for a bottle of water, twisted the cover open and gulped down the contents to her throat. She felt more refreshed and satisfied.

Returning some strands of hair covering her face back to her ear, she shut the door as she looked up to see an unfamiliar male figure abutting against her freezer with his legs crossed across the other.

Imogen was shocked.

"Who….are….you?" She spluttered and screamed loudly as she scurried back to her room and shut the door behind her. She quickly locked the door with her shaky hand and panted heavily feeling somewhat safe.

"Heyy!! I am so sorry I scared you last night and broke into your home! I promise I'm not a bad person!" He shouted enough for Imogen to hear him.

"The heck is he talking about?" She mumbled as she pulled herself together and returned to her senses.

She searched her room for her phone but she couldn't find it. She was restless as she couldn't think of what to do. Abruptly, she remembered that she had left it on a coffee table in her living room last night. She was so confused about what to do not until She opened the door slightly.

"Hey, Siri!!" She shouted as she heard her phone turn on

                      "Call the corps," she added

"Calling the corps," it retorted and Imogen felt so relieved.

After the phone rang twice, a Corp picked up as the intruder searched for her phone.

                        " Yes, 911, any problem?"

"Yes, I have an in....." she trailed off upon hearing her phone hung up.

She stylishly worked out of her room and saw her phone in his hands. She jolted backwards as he walked towards her. She was more frightened to see him coming close to her and at the same time admiring his lovely blue irises and his curly mud hair style with his sexy lips.

'Like seriously, is that the next thing to do at that moment?  Avoid his eyes… Avoid his eyes...Don't come close, what is he doing?'

Imogen scrutinized him at every step, quivering in her stance,"who are you?" She swallowed.

"Look if I had the intention to hurt you, I would have done so long ago while you were sleeping but I didn't."

"That wasn't my question!" she retorted.

"Fine, it's okay, I am Oliver."

she suddenly remembered what she saw last night, she cringed and he aimed to follow.

With her hands spread in front of her, trying to stop him from coming closer "stop right there!" She exclaimed, cringing  backwards and he aimed to follow.

With so much innocence in his voice, he assured her, "I am not gonna hurt you."

Her frustration grew with each word he spoke. She was not sure what his intentions were so that increased her anxiety even more, "Just! stay! right! there!" She spat out.

"Since when have you been in my house and why are you here?"

Sitting on the nearest sofa, "I have been here since last night and I came here to find my friend. I'm not here to hurt you," he reaffirmed.

"Wait, don't tell me you were whatever from last night," She asked softly, hoping his answer wouldn't be positive.

He looked at her and scoffed.

"Will you believe me if I tell you?" He said smiling.

'Why does it matter if I believe you anyways, I will never believe a stranger that barges into my house without an ulterior motive of harming or stealing from me.'

Imogen scoffed.

"I am a werewolf," he blurted as he couldn't care less about what happens next.

Standing up from the sofa, "I am not even interested in listening anymore, you should leave now before I call the corps." she retorted feeling infuriated.

She suddenly froze as his response sink into her brain and process

                            "You're what?!"

                             "A werewolf."

Forthwith, Oliver screamed softly. He changed into his werewolf form.

Imogen was too stunned to move an inch, he disappeared leaving his footprints by the window. She fell on the sofa and took a deep breath before rushing to her freezer to drink some water.

"Everything that happened was a dream," she repeated continuously to herself as she quickly shut her window and she packed her things. She left for work.

She got to the hospital a few minutes earlier and tried to calm herself.

She proceeded to replace the dog's drip. It opened its eyes to a blurry vision. It was so weak that it couldn't stay another minute before falling asleep. Imogen fondled it dearly.

Just then she heard a knock on her door,

                                    " yes!" She said,

A nurse with blonde hair came in smiling lightly."The chief wants to see you."

There was a new chief doctor that was being selected to be the head doctor in R.A veterinary but Imogen has never seen or met him since she just got back from her leave.

"He is in the hospital?" Imogen asked amusingly,

Arching her brow, she replied. "Yes, but this is his first time coming to the hospital and now he wants to see you,"

                   "That is too sudden"

They both suspected that something unusual was going on.

Heading out,  "well then good luck meeting him," the nurse smiled.

Imogen headed to the chief's office which was a few steps away from hers.

Getting to his office, a male figure was seated on a chair,  turning his back against the door.

"Er... Sir, you sent for me," Imogen said as she got curious about what the chief doctor looked like.

He turned back slowly, glowing from the reflection of the Sun outside his office which appeared like the sun was hiding behind him.

Imogen looked at him closely as she identified a familiar face. She was extremely surprised to see who was seated in front of her.

forgetting the fact that he was her boss, "You!!!" She blurted.
