Shadowsouled

Shadowsouled

She turned towards the doorway, frowning in concentration. He sensed her nerves, but as he man stepped across the threshold, her eyes went black again. She rose slowly, pushing her palm forward again, as those tendrils surrounded her once more, connecting to them as the larger one from her hand shot out towards the human's chest. It hit him hard, and he collapsed right in the doorway.

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

SHADES OF ICE AND ASHES

“You don’t get to make silly assumptions about my life. I’ll let you go because it’s your first time, but I promise you, the next time you try this, I won’t play nice.” My heart jackhammered, but it wasn’t just fear. His eyes—those damned green eyes—held me captive, stirring a memory I’d buried deep. A dark street, a screeching car, my mother’s scream, and those same green eyes glinting in the shadows before the world shattered. My notebook slipped from my fingers, pages fluttering to the floor like wounded birds. Zane’s gaze flicked to my lips, a flicker of something raw flashing across his face. For a heartbeat, I thought he’d close the gap, but he stepped back, his cold mask slamming into

I said, and Jace frowned as he looked worriedly at me. “Listening for what?” Jace asked, as Adara took a cloth, and started cleaning the blood from Kiran’s face. “I’ve met someone and we like to spend time in different realms. I’ll give you a name when it’s time for someone to die and you’ll go take them for me,” Death said, and I looked at him. It was Chrissie all over again and I shuddered. “What?” “That’s the deal,” he said, and I looked at him in disgust.

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

I said. "Not a what," Dorian said. "A who. The fifth witness is the being who witnesses the completion of the full Bloodbinding — all four anchors bonded, the tribrid fully awakened — and records it in the living record of supernatural history. When the Bloodbinding completes, it doesn't just stabilize the tribrid. It resets the supernatural order. Eliminates the fractures between species. Creates a new baseline for every supernatural alive." He looked around the room. "The fifth witness is the one who carries that record forward. Who becomes the living archive of what the reset means." "Why would the Conclave want that," Brecken said from the window.

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

The Seventh Life Of The Soulbound Villainess

At the Soul Sight still fracturing in my chest — golden shards now, not threads, the pieces of something that had been built over five years and four years before that and something even further back that I could not name but could feel with the specific weight of a wound that has never once been allowed to close. I know how this ends, I had said. So many times. I had meant: I survive it. The ground gave way. I did not hesitate. The sound reached the courtyard before anyone arrived. Not a scream — there was no time for a scream. The sound was the absence of a sound: the specific silence of a thing that had been present and was no longer, followed by the mountain wind continuing in the same d

MOONBOUND SECRETS

MOONBOUND SECRETS

The threads in my veins writhe, the Architect’s essence fighting to escape. ***You’ll die***, he snarls. “Then we die together,” I say. The net closes. The Architect’s final scream shakes the meadow. The fissure seals, the void’s whispers silenced. The silver threads dissolve, leaving my skin bare, human. But the cost sits heavy. Silas collapses, his shadows frayed. Selene’s light is a dim flicker. Ryland holds them both, his face ashen. “Did we… win?” Selene whispers.

Unspoken Truths - Book 2

Unspoken Truths - Book 2

Unspoken Truths - Chapter 5 Damian I sat in the chair beside Sareena’s bed, clutching her hand like it was the only thing tethering me to reality, willing her to wake up. Willing her to come back to me. I hadn’t cried in as long as I could remember and I definitely hadn’t prayed. The last time I did was when my mom died. But today… I did both. I wiped the tears from my face just as Gino burst through the door, huffing like he’d run a marathon.

Blood ,Fire and Frost

Blood ,Fire and Frost

I say quietly to Selene later that night. She looks at me. “Meaning?” “Meaning the Axis will outgrow singular stewardship,” I answer. “Whether we want it to or not.” Rowan stiffens. “You’re saying she won’t always be the center.” “I am saying she may become the first reference,” I clarify. Selene absorbs that without flinching. “Then Book Four,” she says slowly, “is about expansion.” “And Book Five,” Rowan adds grimly, “is about survival.”

The Unfortunate Trilogy

The Unfortunate Trilogy

“Now tell me I care too much about what everyone else thinks.” I frown at him, the subtle movement causing my entire body to ache. “If I remain an Unfortunate, they’ll kill you for that.” He shrugs his broad, powerful shoulders. “Then I look forward to doing it again in the afterlife.” “You’d hold on for that long?” “Longer.” His intense stare softens, his eyes filling with compassion. “I’d hold on to us until this world fades into the next.” “And when that world dissolves into another?”

this is an amazing story. can't wait for an update. I hope the dna results cause a change so there's no more unfortunate and fortunate, that everyone is treated as a human. I hope Kade tells Ana he loves her and they marry and have kids. I guess I'm a sap for happy endings.

book is very different, though I wish us readers could show respect for the author with gems along the way or with voting gems.... An author that just writes with so much detail without the bore of description of clothing....
