Rejected and Banished: Claimed by the Lycan King

Rejected and Banished: Claimed by the Lycan King

He answered. "They will not find one." Ares did not look at me. He looked out. "They will make one if they have to." He said. "Let them try." My voice filled with anger. The mist pushed against the wall. It got thicker. The mist was not wild. The mist was not hungry. The mist was listening. When I stepped forward, The mist went with me. "Signal the riders.” Darric's head came up. "Now?" "Yes." I nodded.

Rebound to the Lycan Alpha

She smiled. “We finally met as ourselves,” she looked at the mist and then at me. Sensing my confusion, she said. “This mist makes it easier for souls to exit and enter a body. It is an ancient magic. In the spiritual world, this is known as the Ocean’s mist because it is indeed as deep and mysterious as the ocean itself. This mist is a portal, a bridge to many worlds and dimensions and realities. It becomes what you make of it. It responds to your deepest desires. Your father was a very intelligent man to have figured it out.” I smiled faintly with a hard gulp, licking my chapped lips.

I have very specific authors that I read from in these apps like a Jessica Hall and Moonlight Muse, but I think I may have just found a favorite to add to the list! This story is absolutely amazing! It pulls you in from the beginning with betrayal, pain, lust, love and an amazing adventure of magic!

Passionate Mistake (English)

Passionate Mistake (English)

Do I pretend that I don't remember any of it? I didn't realize I'd arrived at the tower. Right. I was drunk and mindless. For me, it was a mistake that I let myself go like that. I was so angry and hurt that I became thoughtless and made that mistake. Right, it was just a mistake. Nothing more. To be continued...

The Marked

The Marked

The knowledge terrifies me more than the darkness does. The pillars stand in what might have once been a clearing, though now it's choked with mist that clings to everything, dampening sound and obscuring vision. Beyond the circle, I can make out the suggestion of ruins—crumbled walls, fallen archways, the skeleton of something that was once grand. The mist moves strangely here, not drifting but pulsing, as if it's breathing.

The Last Alpha King - Mists of Time

The Last Alpha King - Mists of Time

Embracing the calming influence that mother nature could give me. Today was one of those days that I found myself walking the small cove of the beach beneath Wolfridge. The air had turned bitter, and a deep fog had settled over the turbulent water. To most it would seem grim and bleak, but for me I found peace in the murkiness. The sound of the crashing waves against the rock face around me lulled me into a hypnotic state. My eyes fixed on the mist before me. There was nothing to see, only a sense of calm to fall into.

Can’t wait for book 2! Loved this story and the fact that there were no loose ends. Surely some minor typing errors were made, but that’s can be expected. I’ve made some of my own assumptions on some lines in the book and read along perfectly, while English is not my native language. Recommend it!!

I picked this book for while I was waiting on four others to update. Intending it to be a in between story. However I couldn’t put it down. I started reading it at 8pm and stayed up until 4am knowing I had to be up at 6am. It was a long day, but I loved the book! Can’t wait for the 2nd book!

The Alpha's Dark Obsession

The Alpha's Dark Obsession

From where she stood, she raised her hands to the sky and mist appeared all around her, such thick mist that it was impossible to see through it. The mist gathered in the sky, obscuring the clouds and the houses. "Open," she whispered and the hidden entrance of the village opened. The sky separated, breaking into two. The mist reached out and suddenly everything went dark. ... Hello readers Please vote for the story to promote it. Let's take this book to the top. Also leave a review about the book. Lots of love.

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

Reborn with the Promiscuity System: Good Girl No More

It's a mystery why light always has to have a dark side like a shadow. Nonetheless, many things had happened this week. First of all, the same day when Agatha caused someone's death for the first time was when Misty visited Christine's mother who was currently imprisoned in a pure white room with many bright lights. The process had been mentally taxing but from the mouth of the woman who would probably remain there for life, Misty learned that the three most absurd gossips about their family she had heard from people were true.

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

A low, ominous hum filled the room—a disturbance like the land itself was shifting beneath our feet. A sharp knock echoed again, followed by Elena’s voice from the hall. "Seraphina! Something’s happening outside!" We rushed out, my heart hammering in my chest. The moment we stepped into the open air, I saw it—a shimmering wall of mist creeping along the forest's edge, glowing under the silver moonlight. The mist rippled as it moved, twisting into eerie shapes, like shadows given form. And at the center of the disturbance stood a lone figure, cloaked in darkness.

MISTAKEN

MISTAKEN

NIGHTMARES. A very bad or frightening dream. Anna was starting to lose count of the number of nightmares she’s been having since Josh’s death but whenever she woke up with one, clearing her head with a jog had been working well on her. She lets out a sigh as she turns sideways to stare at the mini alarm clock she had next to her bed. The time read 6:00 am and she hated the fact that she had to be awake at this early hour of the day.

MISTRESS'S DESIRE

MISTRESS'S DESIRE

Leaving the only daughter who is still on the terrace of the house alone. The sound of birds chirping that were about to return to the tree where they lived sounded cheerful. Looks like they've had a very happy day. Moreover, the twilight at the west end there looks beautiful making the blue sky now colored orange mixed with yellow which is so beautiful. A pair of hazel eyes looked far up, she saw a star that was already shining brightly above alone. "Could it be that I can also be as fresh as that star? Being there alone still shining brightly?"

Frequently Asked Questions

Finding 'The Mist' by Stephen King for free online is tricky, but I’ve stumbled across a few options. Some public domain sites or forums like Reddit’s r/FreeEBOOKS occasionally share legal freebies—keep an eye there. Internet Archive sometimes has older titles available for borrowing, though availability shifts. Torrents or shady PDF sites might pop up in searches, but I avoid those; they’re risky and unfair to authors. Libraries are your best bet: apps like Libby or Hoopla offer free digital loans with a library card. King’s works are fiercely protected, so free copies usually mean piracy, which I can’t endorse. Support the author if you can—check used bookstores or Kindle deals.

If you’re desperate, try King’s official website or publisher promotions. They sometimes give away older shorts or samples. 'The Mist' is often bundled in collections like 'Skeleton Crew,' so hunting for those might yield better luck. Podcasts or YouTube audiobook snippets exist too, though full copies are rare. Remember, creativity thrives when creators get paid—even a thrifted copy or library loan helps more than a pirate site.
