After a rather embarrassing checkout we head back to Annie’s house where she promptly gets on the intercom, “George! Bedroom! The first few chapters were a bit much and I almost stopped reading, but once I got to the horns as handlebars scene I was hooked. When it stopped, I unconsciously recoiled from the pictures on the page, finding it difficult to grasp what I saw. "What are those things?" I finally asked. The creatures had dark and hairy bodies. Their arms and legs were the same lengths, similar in proportion to an ape.

The story focused on the world of wolves. There was little mention about humans. They only appeared when animals raided and attacked villages for food and fun.
