I twirled and danced in the human dress I was wearing. "It's nothing special, what do you want me to do?" She replied coldly. "Please I beg you, let there be no rain" I begged. "The sun has been up for days, the trees and the fishes will suffer greatly" she replied, muttering a few cloud spells. "Come on, do this for your little sis" I whined. "I'll see what I can do but no promises" she replied and closed the spell book. Well she did nothing, The rain was so heavy and it felt different since it was my first time experiencing it as a human.

I mutter, looking at my foot, which was hit by some sort of book. I lift my foot and give it a light massage with my hands before picking up the book. As I read its title, "FAREWELL TO HUMANITY," I remember the events: mountain, rock, handsome man, fainting, handsome man, book, handsome man... Yeah, lots of events. I'm not doing well; I barely left home and I've already gotten myself into trouble, cursed mountain. Still lost in recent events, I run my finger over the couple on the book's cover, and for some reason, Deniel's image comes to mind, causing a small (very small) smile to form on my lips. He's so handsome and masculine.

I didn't want to be a thief even if Gera was technically responsible for the thefts. My favorite of all the wonderful tomes was a book about love. The main character was this buff and dreamy human man with piles of muscles who oozed confidence. The woman he loved swooned at the thought of him, and it had very outlandish descriptions of human sex. It wasn't that way for nymphs, for one I'd never seen a male nymph with more than slight muscles and certainly none that made fire explode in my belly.

It looked old and valuable, and I knew that it had to be important. I walked over to the book and opened it up, my heart racing as I read the title: "Genetics and the Possibility of Superhumans." I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The book discussed the potential for people with wolf-like abilities to exist, and the scientific methods that could be used to create them.

Before he came back in, I went straight to his room. I scanned the room carefully, my fingers brushing against the edge of his bookshelf. That was when I saw it. A book. It wasn’t like the other ones. Its leather cover was black and worn, the edges uneven, as if it had been opened too many times. I picked it up, my hands trembling just a little, and flipped it open. “To become human, you must have sex with many humans and drain their energy. This will make you human… and stop you from drinking human blood.”

After I got it I pulled out a chair and sat in front of the table near it by the window. "Deceptive," I read in the written title of the book, I opened it in turn and what popped up to me was a picture of a large creature that was half human and wolf, its body full of feathers. “He has no death, to this day he is still alive, trying to save the woman he first loved and wants to be with for life,” I read here. There was some spark that flowed through my being. I wasted no more time and I opened the book, but my torn eyebrows met its pages, even if I looked over and over I could not read anything, until I got to the back of the book and there was I noticed a very small letter.

“And none of that ‘fated mates’ business. I’m a human. I don’t have a fated anything.” “You don’t think Luna watches over you?” “Of course, but she watches over me in human terms, not wolf.” “I don’t know what that means.” “There’s a book by Taylor Alsop, Humanity under the Moon. I highly recommend it.” Even from the corner of my eye I could see his pleased smile. “Thank you. I’ll read it.” “Excellent. Now, is that all?” “So, you are well, then?” “Exceptionally so. Now, go hide somewhere. I want to buy this chemical reaction thing.”
