Alone Time Book Novels & Stories

Hell, maybe he could even get his own spinoff. Leah flitted off to work with an extra cinnamon roll, and I was left alone in the apartment. It was still morning yet, so I had time to kill. I elected to curl up on the couch with one of the lycan books Blair sent with me. It was unusual to get a book from Blair that was not old, leather bound, and smelled of dust and aged paper. This one was the most interesting by far because it was a paperback that looked to be written within the past decade or so. It looked too… normal. It had a publishing date and everything.

Alpha Burst, ever the attentive scribe, transcribed Luna's words with meticulous care. As Luna delved into her experiences, she narrated tales of challenges overcome, alliances forged, and the delicate balance of leadership. Alpha Burst captured these narratives in the pages of the book, each word a brushstroke painting a vivid portrait of Luna's journey as the guardian Alpha of Nampa. The Book of Luna expanded beyond mere teachings; it became a repository of Luna's reflections on the cyclical nature of existence. She spoke of the evolving dynamics between magical realms, the dance of time, and the enduring spirit that connected all magical beings. Alpha Burst marvelled at the depth of Luna'

Went to my bedroom, changed into comfortable clothes, and got into bed even though it was only two in the afternoon. I pulled up the book I'd been trying to read for three weeks now. Got through two chapters before my eyes got heavy. I set the book aside and closed my eyes. I fell asleep in the middle of the day for the first time in years. I woke up three hours later. The sun had gone lower and the light in my room had changed. I checked my phone. The I*******m post had six thousand likes now, and comments from people saying they felt the same way. That quiet was underrated. That being alone didn't have to mean being lonely.

Chapter 1- Alsie Introduction- If you want to get better acquainted with the characters in this story I suggest you read Detective Alsie and the Triplet Alphas...the beginning I sat on the floor playing with my sons, surrounded by my mates, enjoying this small moment of peace. Knowing full well that everything in our lives, was about to change….again. Not that, that was anything new to us. If there is something we all knew about, it was adapting and pivoting quickly. However, the change coming our way was about to be one of epic proportions and one that was going to rock the werewolf and Lycan world to its foundation.

Even Ben became quiet and withdrawn, as though he were carrying an unbearable burden. I felt as though the whole world was against us, refusing to let us live in peace for even a single day. When I would feel mentally and emotionally exhausted, I would often wonder—what exactly was the secret that Edith had left behind? It turned out I wasn't the only one with that question, especially after the neighbors shared this incident online.

Chapter Secenty Four – Alina’s POV: A Little Victory at Home The house was quiet, almost too quiet. Lucien had gone to a meeting early in the morning, leaving me alone in the living room with my laptop and a pile of sketches. The sunlight streamed through the window, warming my arms, and for a moment, it felt like the world outside didn’t exist.

“Together.” The sunlight streaming through the library windows had shifted to a mellow gold, catching dust motes in the air. We had been here since morning—surrounded by piles of parenting books, notebooks, and scattered sticky notes with phrases like feeding intervals and safe sleep positions. The smell of parchment and tea mixed with the faint floral scent of Seraphina’s hair. By afternoon, we were down to the last book on the stack—its title written in soft silver across the cover: From Pack Leader to Father: Transitioning with Grace.

Lena woke up the morning after a little earlier than usual. The sun was just rising itself above the horizon, casting long shadows on the empty street. The bookstore in early morning light seemed to be otherworldly — serene, serene, like a cathedral. She liked it best at this hour. No customers yet, no distractions. Just her, the scent of paper and ink, and the gentle thrum of old stories ready to be read aloud again. She pushed the front door open and stepped inside, savoring the creak of wood beneath her boots.

It was one of the twins. I stood up and opened the door before I saw Becca holding a book and Ruth carrying Everest. “How can I help you girls?” I asked. Becca raised the book; it was a children’s book ‘All Alien needs is a friend’ by Mitsuki Bethan. I smiled as I took the book and stared down at the girls. “Mummy won’t be doing story time soon.” Ruth explained. “Come in. Just give me a moment to shower and change.” I said as they walked in.

I need to be comfortable if I am going to collapse. I pick up a new book to read, it is titled Haunting Adeline and it is a dark romance. I start reading the book to pass the time and about twenty minutes later, “Luna, you were right. Austiin and Cyrus followed him home and when he knocked on the door, a blonde girl opened the door and let him in,” Harlan tells me through our connection.
