The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Lorths' magic was distinct in that it required them to tear a page from a book and repeat the incantation in order for it to work. Only beginners had to bring their scriptures to a fight, according to Nelanian. Yulcite mages who had mastered Religion magic had mastered their scriptures and did not need to carry them to a fight. The quality of a Lorth's grimoire, on the other hand, may be used to rank them. Grimoires with soft covers showed that the mage was still a novice, while those with finer covers, such as leather or embellished covers with gems and gold, showed that the magician was at a higher level. When Nelanian saw the brilliant ruby on the grimoire's cover, he knew he couldn't

Two days later they will start working in the maze and my wedding with the king is also going to be in a few days. I have to escape tonight. I try to think and then remember that it was the one which I was reading yesterday. “The tales of Ash Ville”. Yes, it was in that book. I am sure that it was in that book.

The werewolf spell, the gateway to hell

"Spread her legs and make them free. I love them when they fight back. As he pulled his zip down I struggled and pushed him away. I felt fingers and claws around My thigh, I tried struggling more, not wanting my pants to be pulled down. It finally registered to me that it was particularly cold that evening. I Was nothing compared to their strength, and the fact that they were calling their wolves to the surface. My eyes began to change and I saw a twinkling flash before my eyes, I called into my wolf, something I had only done once. "Take her far away and hide her, find a sorcerer, and put a controversy in her mind. We must prevent anyone from seeing her" "I am afraid…. " "Don't be. I'ill me

Theirs to Claim

Theirs to Claim

They are Vicious. They are Cruel. They are Lethal. Their names are not known, and their origins trace back to the first Lycan that walked the earth. They are three Alphas that rule the most feared kingdom separated from the human realm by a magical portal that opens once every five years. Ariadne had only heard of tales of the Beasts and believed those that cross the realms to be fools. Daring to cross such realms had never truly crossed her mind but as her eighteenth birthday begins to approach, she knows her future is already set in two paths; sold as a slave to another cruel master or work in the brothels as one of the many town whores.

Fated Fairy Tales

Fated Fairy Tales

One triplet tells Nathan. Frederick gets to his feet, not allowing him to continue. “Your Majesty. Wolves are amazing creatures and are very strong. They will have their place in this fight. But Millicent is magically powerful. I’m not even sure. With all the power in this room, we can defeat her.” “Why are you not sure? You’re a seerer, aren’t you?” Nathan asked him curiously. I hear someone sucking in a breath. I assume it’s Anabelle who quickly leaves the room. Merida and Ellie go after her.

Willow (The Cursed Dragon-Wolf)

Willow (The Cursed Dragon-Wolf)

Arabella landed not so gracefully on the ground far away from the house of Willow, she landed inside a forest, her bones breaking from the impact of her landing. She could slowly see her death coming as she was losing the fight to stay awake. Meanwhile in the Supernatural Realm: The sorceress stopped what she was doing and went to a large bowl filled with water, she opened her bad eye and one maggot fell into it, showing her what she wanted to see. Ellen went and stood beside the sorceress and saw a young lady dying in her own pool of blood and in what looked like a forest. "Who is she?" Ellen asked.

The Werewolf Princess: A Fated Mate's Revenge

The Werewolf Princess: A Fated Mate's Revenge

She’d dodged and weaved, her movements fluid and unpredictable, her lupine agility proving more than a match for the sorcerer’s arcane bindings. She’d seen an opening, a moment where his concentration wavered, his acolytes faltering under the ferocity of her attack. With a burst of speed, she'd closed the distance, her spear a blur of motion. It wasn't aimed at him, but at the staff he held. The impact sent a shockwave of energy through the air, shattering the glowing emerald, the arcane power recoiling upon the sorcerer. He’d cried out, clutching his hand, his spell broken. His acolytes, their magical focus disrupted, had scattered, their illusions dissolving like smoke.

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

Two years later . . . I packed up my things one more time, putting the Book of the Damned into my satchel along with some spare clothes that I’d brought with me when I’d left the packhouse two years ago. My wolf truly hadn’t come out ever since the first time I’d shifted which helped me a lot in covering the fact that I was half a wolf and half a sorceress. Thank goodness none of the witches, warlocks, and faes had a super smell either. I’d managed to find a sorceress named Deidre who taught me a lot about runes, spells, potions, and charms. She was the only person around here who knew that I had the Book of the Damned in my possession and did not want to steal it. She’d even warned me about

Thank you for the chapters I hope they come more frequently. I just love this story and really hope they over come this disease and be happy. I believe that he just marked her this time because he may have seen her with Ero and knows that he wants her and always have.

Ellie Parkinson and The Realm of Evil

Ellie Parkinson and The Realm of Evil

My eyes opened and the pain that I had felt in my ribs when Malena had struck me had returned. With all the energy I could muster, I pulled myself up to face the sorceress, who was on the verge of sucking off my best friend’s soul. “You were right Malena,” I began, with a bold and victorious smile emerging across my face which had a drastic effect of wiping hers off, as she looked at me with horrified bewilderment. “About my destiny of being reborn. But you failed to fathom one fact… it wasn't meant to free you. But to bring about your termination!” and with a massive bellow, I rushed forwards towards the sorceress, who had a second to apply her empty hand to defend herself. She directed her

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm about halfway through 'Sorceress Tale' and honestly, the last few chapters I read felt rushed. The final confrontation with the Obsidian Cabal was over in like, ten pages? After all that buildup about elemental magic systems and political intrigue, the resolution just sort of happened. The main character, Elara, makes this huge sacrifice, but we don't really sit with the consequences. The epilogue jumps forward twenty years and everyone's fine.

I don't think it's terrible, just underwhelming. It ties up the major plot threads, sure. The villain is defeated, the kingdom is saved. But the emotional payoff for Elara's arc felt truncated. I wanted more of her grappling with the cost of her power, maybe a quieter moment with her mentor, Vaelin. Instead, it's victory parade, time-skip, the end. It's a 'satisfying' ending only if your sole criteria is plot boxes being checked.

For a series that spent so much time on atmosphere and internal conflict, the finale leaned way too hard on external action. I closed the book feeling like I missed a chapter.
