My father's hand pressed hard against the edge of the altar, knuckles pale. He didn't look at anyone. He only stared into the flames. "Enough," he suddenly said. His voice sounded raw, almost unrecognizable. "Alpha?" Russ turned toward him. "I said enough!" My father suddenly lifted his head, eyes bloodshot. "I'm done watching these petty incidents. Show me everything from the three days before the cliff. Replay every moment. I want the truth!"

Alpha Vincent asked, almost immediately, Isha run to them and hugged Alpha Vincent. "Uncle Asher, You promised not to leave, please take me with you." Isha pleaded. "You want to leave mommy alone?" Alpha Vincent asked brushing her hair back with a smile. "What is your name uncle Asher and why are all those people hugging you?" Isha asked. "Isha baby, your uncle Asher's real name is Alpha Vincent and he is an Alpha, he lives in a palace." Laura answered. "Really? Big palace? Please take me with you, just for few days, I want to live in a chamber, have so much fun at the palace, please, please." Isha pleaded folding her little hands.

When he was in the privacy of his room, he stripped off his clothes. Staring at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, he saw the bruising on his abdomen—it was much worse than the already healing purple around his jaw. He brushed a finger over the wound, only to grimace at the sharp pang of pain. Truly, if he had been an Alpha, that woman wouldn’t have had a chance to hit him.

But Asher only smiles and tells the man, if he were to spare his son, he would be seen as weak and very foolish, so instead, Asher killed Tucker in front of his father who broke down in hysterics. From that day on, Asher was known as the Alpha who took control of seven packs making his pack, the largest but most feared around. His wish that whenever his name is brought up, people cower and hide out of fear had become a reality. ASHER’S POV I hadn’t stopped thinking about him. The man who’d met me claiming he knew things about me I myself didn’t know.
